I never understood this movie. It's just weak ass emotional pulls without really ever showing that Norton is wrong in his views about blacks. It does show how dumb it is to trust criminals in jail as his fellow white nationalist inmates rape him. It tries to do it with his black friend in prison but it's completely undercut by the fact that the black gangs would have gutted him like a fish if the black friend didn't save him.Also the end of the movie completely validates Nortons original PoV since another black guns his brother down just as they are turning over a new leaf so to speak. It's a bizarre movie because of this.
