>was right all along

did /tv/ ever apologize?
>>

The show would have been better if it was just a legal/family drama, with cartel shit only starting to happen in the finale.
>>

He gets the address wrong many times. Continuously states 1216 one after Magna Carta, but it’s 1261. Even on the stand he says this. That he argued it all along made him look unstable
>>
>tells Jimmy he'll never change
>makes literally everything in his power to make sure Jimmy never changes
>SEE? I WAS LE RIGHT
What's this mentality called?
>>
He was wrong, the electricity fucked with his mind
>>
Great use of 'chicanery'
>>

You lack critical thinking. It's safe to assume Jimmy was a piece of shit since the store theft flashback back when they were kids. Chuck has known Jimmy for decades and is aware of fuckups the audience isn't. Besides, when Jimmy got the chance to work an honest lawyer job without his brother intervening at all he slipped again. It's his nature. You think he confessed because he felt bad? What a load of chicanery, he did it because of his ego.

>I can't let Jimmy work at HHM, where I could have him under constant surveillance to make sure he doesn't do slipping jimmy stuff, it's better if Jimmy is broke and desperate all the time, broke and desperate people never break the law!
Chuck was wrong because he couldn't accept that someone he saw as beneath him became a lawyer.

>I can't let Jimmy work at HHM, where I could have him under constant surveillance to make sure he doesn't do slipping jimmy stuff
Honestly this never made sense to me, if you're whacky brother got a law degree and you think he'll fuck up, you're much better keeping him around so you can damage control.

>"Jimmy, this show is fucking boring. I don't even watch tv and I can tell this is 'Nothing happens - the show',"
yes he was
>>
>>217019433
strongly agree
>>

Too much of the cartel shit boiled down to
>Woah, it's Tuco! You remember how much you liked Breaking Bad, right?! Oh shit, who's that?? Another Breaking Bad guy! Look how invincible and badass all your favorite BB guys are!!
Chuck, Howard, Kim, and such were where the show was really standing on its own two feet.

Also Chuck was a stupid sack of shit and will spend eternity rotting in hell for being such a massive faggot.
>>
>>217020871
No, you'd rather have him far away from your firm so he can't damage it's reputation. Chuck knew Jimmy was always gonna be a crook and he was literally right
>>
>>217020743
>chuck is le bad because he didn't watch jimmy 24/7
>jimmy isn't responsible for his own actions that's his brother's responsibility!
>jimmy MUST work at hhm he can't work at some crappy firm someplace else and climb the corporate ladder in an honest way! he needs neopotism from his brother!

do you have any idea how retarded you sound?
>>
Jimmy is nearing 40 during the events of BCS. Hes not a kid
>>
>>217021232
It had nothing to do with whether or not Jimmy was a crook. Chuck desperately NEEDED to be superior. He'd find any reason to keep Jimmy from improving his situation, because then he might have to be a grown up, do some self reflection, and ask himself
>Could the reason everybody loves Jimmy more than Chuck actually have anything to do with the type of person Chuck is?
And Chuck would never have been able to do that.

>this is a late 30s white male

all that slippin' aged him 15 years
>>
>>217021334
Strong disagree. At no point did Jimmy ever genuinely try to improve his situation, he did always look for a shortcut or a cheat. Chuck's just the only one that saw through Jimmy's act and that's why he hated him.

the show could have been better if if had actual law plot and saul wasn't a magician con man. Jimmy/Saul never uses the law, all his schemes makes no use of his profession, they all suck and only work due to blatant plot armor.
