Star wars was never good

Seriously go and watch those films with adult eyes you will be blown away at how ropey and thread bare they are

I can't think of anything that's blinded more manchildren by nostalgia than shit wars

Watched Star Wars 6 return of the jedi last night and realised something strange, the rebellion would have blown up the death star even if the emperor had turned luke to the dark side

Bit weird that, that the rebellion had won, because they blew up the shield generator, yet it was the emperors plan for them to try to blow it up to trap them

Luke joining the dark side or not, and Vader turning on the emperor and throwing him into the reactor core didn't really change a thing because regardless of what happened on the death star it was about to blow up in a few minutes anyway
