It's the stupidest thing in the entire show, it's insultingly stupid. The season floundered as a whole. They failed to follow up on the promise/threat of Vecna as a villain and danced on the spot for 8 episodes. The finale was decent though as it kept to the action, and the epilogue was tonally right (I don’t agree with the shitters who think GoT main character deaths are necessary in a nostalgic coming-of-age story). Holly & Derek saved the season (the show only works with kids).
