Linda Hamilton's character was wasted and almost completely pointless. She had very little scenes, she barely even spoke, she had almost no interaction with the rest of the cast, her motivations were weak, the only reason she wasn't completely pointless is her character existed to give us the ending we got. The writing in this shit is miserable. It's a gigantic fucking yapfest. 90% of this season has been someone explaining something. Either explaining how something works (usually with some hamfisted pop culture reference), explaining a plan, explaining how they feel, or explaining how someone else should feel. The cringe quirkchungus dialogue actually feels like a trickle of fresh rain because it is the only thing that gives a break from it. It doesn't help that most of it is edited like a trailer too. And somehow despite these things which are hallmarks of a rushjob there isn't actually anything happening. I've never seen so much exposition and editing used to convey so little before.
