Has AI gotten good enough to be able to fix this utter pile of Hackson garbage yet?
>>
>>217034076
they used ai to upscale it, resulting in artifacts. Best version is still in 480p.

If AI gets that good I will just stop watching shit that has been made after 2017. There are enough pre-2017 films for the rest of my life, I don't need new shit.
>>

I'm not talking about upscaling, I'm talking about using AI to fix Hackson's butchery of the original story while keeping the positive aspects of the movies which boils down to basically everything that Hackson wasn't involved with

Jackson oversaw casting, directing the actors, set design, costume design, and fighting the studio to go with lots of extras and prosthetics/practical effects rather than CGI. The one thing he didn't do very much of was writing the screenplay.
So you want the same script, but with A list actors who can't play the parts but have name recognition, cheap sets, plastic costumes, and lots more blue screen.
Go watch Rings of Power, it's right up your alley.

No, I want to use AI to fix Hackson's butchering of the original story while keeping the good stuff that Hackson's surrounding cast was entirely responsible for like the casting, acting, set design, costume design, effects, etc

No, Rakesh

it has and hollywood fears it. in my version of lord of the ring, spider-man and one punch man and ironman show up to help out and fight sauron and its epic.

the future is in our hands and apotheosis is upon us

>le Hackson!
You sound like buzzword spouting retard. Jackson was the director, co-writer, and a producer. He was heavily involved with all of those things. It was because of him that Ian Mckellan was Gandalf, Christopher Lee was Saruman, Ian Holm was Bilbo Baggins, and he even fired Stuart Townsend just before filming and replaced him with Viggo Mortenson for Aragorn. He was responsible for many of the good things that you claim he wasn't. Do some research before posting your stupid opinions.

>bbut Hackson did some good stuff therefore that totally negates all the bad things he did
No, he butchered the original story and the trilogy is slop with great cinematography and production

>more buzzwords
opinion discarded

Kill Yourself Brownoid

The only thing that needs fixing that AI can realistically fix is some of the bad fight choreography i.e almost everything to do with Gondor soldiers and wonky green screen/vfx shots. Story decisions like Denethor being a deplorable ineffectual cunt his entire screentime are too deeply ingrained to fix. And other stuff you can simply fix with some editing, like elves in the Helm's Deep.

>A-A-AI CANT DO THAT!
>Y-Y-Y-YOU'RE INDIAN
>S-S-S-SLOP!

The impotent aural oozing in the face of the inevitable kino renaissance.
It's already good enough to make feature-length zero-dialogue 80's Russian art films (guided by a true human Artist, of course).
Your seething fuels me and will continue to do so.

It's only ever gonna be enjoyed by subhumans like you. Have fun.
