1. Cinderella is kind of a boring story that doesn't warrant much discussion. There's little conflict or struggle, it's just a really basic female wish fulfillment fantasy. But then again, I'm not the target audience, so it's probably competent at what it needs to do.2. Nowadays Disney deliberately puts ragebait elements in their remakes to get word of mouth about them. There are tons of NPCs that will go to any new movie that's being discussed in their circles as sort of a social ritual, even if everyone is bashing it. That's why every big release tries to be either the "best thing ever" or "the worst thing ever", and Disney remakes have been trying to be this month's "the worst thing" ever for quite some time now. But back when this came out, the formula hadn't been devised yet, so it's just a normal boring cashgrab remake instead of one that goes out of its way to offend you by changing things up.
This story is foot fag coded. The whole thing is just about feet fetish.
>>217035004Sounds based as fuck
The problem with this story is that irl when I guy meets a lady he likes at a party and she ghosts...when he finally gets in touch shes like, oh I was just drunk I dont really like you tee hee. They watch fairy tales and then throw them in the bin. And dont get me started on the rapist prince in Sleeping Beauty...women dont like to be molested when they sleep either.

>>217036090Shame she can't sing. Naomi on the otherhand.
>>217035004It's the oppositeThe director goes out of his way to avoid showing feet, even when the script calls for it (women trying on shoes) he still doesn't show them
