In 1972, a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them....maybe you can hire The A-Team.

This show really jumped the shark by season 4 or 5, when the random mexican joined the cast

Before that it was passable action entertainment slop

This show was ridiculous. They shoot thousands of rounds every episode, and all they hit is tires. You know the bad guys are defeated when their car hits a conveniently-placed ramp and flips over in the air. I can just imagine the bill they present to their clients: $200 for expenses, and $10,000 for ammunition. Can't believe I used to watch this.

What a magnificent premise for a television program
