If you watch the Prince of Bel Air, there is a noticible change in the season that takes place in 94, vs the one that takes place in 95. And that can be said about other tv series as well as movies, not all of them of course, but many. And then you have the 2000s having two economic crises and bringing back shitty 70s fashion that makes people look like a dirty hippie
