>>217044068The issue with BM tho is the lack of an actual protagonist. The Kid is doing little more than observe the gang killing and raping their victims. The book lives off the flowery prose richly described scenes only to hit you with another horrible string of events. I love it but it's never going to leave the pages of the novel. American Primeval kinda felt like Netflix was testing the waters for an adaptation but that show isn't getting anywhere close to BM.
