It was harder for them to replace your favorite heroes before because no fan was going to accept a black female Iron Man, a female Thor, or a black Captain America take up the mantle of these iconic characters everyone and their mom knows. I'm telling you right now because I'm sure most people are somewhat annoyed by this casting at the same time you/they ultimately don't feel overly strongly about it because it's not a character you have a deep investment in but it will continue to happen and get worse. I swear to god 20 years from now after the MCU goes through it's second reboot, you'll be sitting on your couch surrounded by your ugly ass grandkids and you'll be horrified watching whatever the new Avengers movie is and the character of Steve Rogers is actually black, Tony Stark will be Filipino, Thor will be a female again, Hulk will be Asian. The only white male character on the team will Hawkeye and even then he'll be a homosexual and get his ass kicked the whole time. I'm obviously being comedic about this but I promise you this shit will get way WAY worse if we don't all collectively say no to this now.

Once most people know Wonder Man as black man, that's how they get away with having to never reverse it back. It starts off as a "kind gesture" to give other types of people jobs for major roles in comic book adaptions... but then for no reason, these characters show up in cartoons race swapped, or in video games race swapped. Look at what they did to Deadshot for example. They made him black for one live action movie and then suddenly the character is black for no reason in other mediums. I wouldn't even care that much if the character was white in a cartoon or something but the voice actor is black, instead they just completely change their race and try to make that the default. Basically even if Wonder Man for example at first just seems like a gimmicky race swap for some shitty Disney+ show, this realistically will lead to them killing the character altogether for all future adaptions. This is the type of shit I'm trying to warn you about because it's really happening.
