Serious question: why hasn’t final fantasy 7 been made into a movie im obviously not talking about advent children. Im saying this as a movie adaptation with the games original story would have mass appeal. Maybe it’d have to be two or three movies but it could work

no it'd be terrible. the original story is a clusterfuck. the only reason people like it is you have to use your imagination when these little PS1 blobs talk about love and destiny and shit. in the remakes it just looks silly. it would look silly on film too.

And it never took on that merit alone.
