First season there was some schizo with a scat fetish who would spam every Smiling Friends thread with hate because Zach on some podcast said people with scat fetishes need to just go cold turkey from porn for awhile to recover.
Then second season had a "I love my god, love my country" joke that made reddit atheists seethe or something. I think most the hate for that was more memes than anything.
