>truck gets a flat tire>fucking explodes
>>217079269do americans really?
it was shot out
>>217079301We don't even think about whatever third world country you come from
>>217079269This movie should get an award for worst title
I'm back and forth on whether this or To Live and Die in L.A. is my favorite film of all time.
>>217079676Canada isn’t a third world country fat ass
>>217079808>Canada isn’t a third world countrymade me heartily chuckleyou fucking bet it is you maple piece of shit
>>217079269I didnt like how sudden they died but I think that was the point
>>217079269Friedkin should be fucking ashamed for making this awful movie and cutting out everything that was the entire source of the thrill and anxiety in the original.
>>217079808>Canada isn’t a third world countryFunniest thing I've read all week.
>>217079808Saar do not redeem the maple syrup!
I was confused why the hitman doing in that town. Why would he take a job whacking someone if after that job he would need to disappear to hide in a place like that? And he seemed to still have money so why was he on the truck? Just for identity papers?
>>217080051>cutting out everythingWhat the fuck are you talking about? The bridge crossing is as tense as that wiggling on the cliff in the french one. I have no idea what fucking bitch-ass retarded nigger contrarianism makes you autists pretend this is a bad retelling.
>>217079269They were rebuilt Ford Pintos
>>217080211His motivations are kept completely nebulous.
>>217080303It really is contrarian hipsterdom. I have read Wages of Fear, I have watched and own the original film on Blu-ray, I have watched and own this film on Blu-ray. I like all of them but Sorcerer is my favorite. I'm convinced it's just one guy on this board who is absolutely obsessed with shitting on Sorcerer and claiming it's some absolutely horrible movie compared to the original.
>>217080692I watched Wages of Fear second and thought the ending was going to be similar. I busted out laughing when the guy gets so excited he starts driving back and forth and runs off the road accidentally killing himself. The ending of Sorcerer was more serious.
>>217080786I like both but I think Wages had the better ending.
>>217081022Wages had a better first truck explosion. I don't give a shit how much TNT Friedkin used. That shot of the old man trying to roll tobacco into the fag only for it to be blown away by the blast wave, and before you even hear the explosion, you know exactly what happened. Now that's quality filmmaking.
>>217080211Being a hitman explains why he's there but not why he's stuck there. Maybe he's just a desperate criminal who's good with a gun.
>>217080211I saw it as him murking the guy so they’d have to take him along and pay him so he could also get the fuck out of there
>>217079808in a year we'll be playing the google maps trash game in canada
>>217081643>so he could also get the fuck out of thereSure, but why is he there? If his job is assassin, surely he doesn't hide in remote villages after every kill. They commented that he still had money. He seems out of place compared to the others.
>>217080303>The bridge crossing isa hecking spine tingling slowburnarino!
>>217079301Fill our trucks up with TNT? Yes.
