Last anime I watched was Memories. It was pretty bad. Last anime I watched that I genuinely enjoyed was old episodes of Lupin the Third. Both of those were months ago.I don't seek out much anime anymore honestly. It's mostly (You)r fault why I don't like it much anymore. Internet weebs made me like anime less and less.

Blue Velvet absolutely mogs SH2R in practically every way artistically. I seriously doubt anyone is going to be playing SH2R in 2064. The original Silent Hill 2 is also the superior game of the two anyway since it did not censor Pyramidhead's introduction scene. Plus Blue Velvet is only 2 hours long whereas SH2R is 20 hours of fucking around.

I grew up with Disney movies with fakeout deaths so Spike dying at the end of Cowboy Bebop really blew my mind. And for a lot of my older friends with strict parents, anime showed them concepts that American media wasn't dealing with at the time(eg the lesbian couple in Sailor Moon) and it flew below their parents' radar because Boomers dismissed it as "just cartoons". And then when we got to the late 00's American TV started getting good(Breaking Bad and Mad Men era) so my anime consumption started dropping off. Also felt like a lot of 2010's anime came across as a parody of anime made by people who secretly hated it(eg Keijo and High School of the Dead). Now we're back full circle to American TV sucking(eg not a single one of the heroes dying at the end of Stranger Things) so I've been revisiting classic anime and figuring out if any of the new stuff is worth watching.
