I recently tried to replay New Vegas with all the recommended mods and DLC (did not play any DLC when it first came out) and just quit. The game is just so boring, the writing is horrible and everything resolves instantly. You get across a certain treshhold and they don't even bother making up decent dialogue, you can tell a lie a child would not believe and you pass the persuasion check. In that regard the show is on par with the game. Everywhere you go you get a deathclaw softlock so you're railroaded into Modoc or whatever. And of course it was that Sawyer tard who turned a small casino gang like Caesar's Legion into a force taking up 2/3rds of the known world. In retrospect, only Fallout 1 was good.
