My assumptions of their code (predators) from seeing the movies is that they respect equal combat based on their tech. So for example in AvP, a pred has to earn the right to wield a projectile laser canon.
Say in real life examples, a general earns rank and respect by being in X combat arena (war) so use the same logic, a general doesn't drop all his knowledge about combat because he is facing an 18yo conscripted grunt in combat. Same with preds, They earned their tech by trial and in turn are able to wield their weapons in combat.
Saying things like its unhonorable to essentially snipe enemies, kill from stealth (camo) is your own bias. As if in real war missiles are unhonrable.
While ironically actual real word combat is pretty much all projectile based now. firearms. Unhonorable.

In predator (1st movie) when he takes out jessie ventura, he attempted to kill him from stealth with a metal projectile but he didnt go down so he killed him with the canon. That was a tactical move as he (jessie) was the biggest guy with the most deadly weapon.
Ultimately preds code of honour is based around if you are carrying a weapon, you are a warrior (hunter) and are up for combat, so will be hunted. That is all there is to it.

Like I said your bias is just ayou thing. Real combat does not have rules. The honour code is a code made by a society or traditions and is subjective.
Preds live by a code that is their own and their tech is a part of that code.
They dint fight unarmed.
In Prey it shows they dont kill people entrapped by others traps. I have never seen a pred in a movie use a trap so traps are probably off limits (though in predators they use a trap to maim topher grace, though they are not the same as preds in other movies, different species)
They prefer 1v1 combat, mellee, seen in multiple movies.
Essentially the preds are looming for actual challenging enemies thaat they can show they have earned a great kill by showing their trophies. Shows in 2, BL and the anime that they collect trophies from all sorts of enemies.

He absolutely is. He kills them in hand to hand combat because he knows he won't lose since he is bigger faster stronger. He is simply having fun. He in his own mind is in never in any real threat. That 80 year old boomer dentist also collects trophies from the big animal they killed. They are far from honorable and never in any real danger. You keep ignoring that the dude is salty when he loses and tries to blow himself up. I know you'll reference the other non-canon movies to refute that

Badlands is good and nothing like Romulus. Most of what it does is original, no forced callbacks, at least none that stood out to me. And the characters are likeable, which is surprising for a movie with no flesh and blood humans whatsoever

I dont think there is any. Only thing there is, is weyland yutani so it ties it into the alien universe.
While I like the movie, I wish tht the 1st time we got to see a pred from preds perspective it was a much grander story and explained more into their home world.
Both this and the anime go to preds homeworld but doesnt really expand it.
Assuming it is their homeworld and not a colony world.
