They refuse to do firmware updates on glaring mistakes and stuff. They're essentially the most "Japanese" company out of the big Japanese camera companies.Even the GXF100RF had a gimmick dial (and you couldn't open the aperture enough to actually take advantage of the medium format sensor.. so the whole point of getting a medium format camera was just pointless).And they price stuff way too high. They used to be good mid price options and light weight compared to the bigger and more expensive counter parts. But now the XT-5 is basically the same price as a Nikon Zf. I mean, there's zero reason to pick the XT-5 over the Zf.

Movies aren't good or bad because of what kind of camera or other equipment you have access to, the quality it's directly based in the creative capacity of the person running the show. A good artist can make good art with anything. A bad artist makes bad art even with millions or billions of dollars at their disposal. I should not need to prove this to you, because it's obvious and self evident. People just don't like hearing this because everyone wants to believe they can do anything they want and are only held back by technical limitations, but in reality that's all just a big cope for losers and pussies.
