>>217217121> Mumsy, Nanny, Sonny, and Girly,Lmao that was actually the title of the movie. > An unlucky traveller learns that his eccentric British hosts have nefarious designs on his mind and his body.Comedy/horror though
Wow, op is something modern for once.

>>217220555>>217220585>>217220619Hi, gurpreet.
Just finished. Some of you might've seen this on Monday, I just got out. The gore is getting overhyped, there're two big moments and one of them is two minutes into the movie. It's kind of repetitive, lots "shh, we have to be still and hide from the monkey!" scenes because the whole movie's set in one house. The monkey's strength level seems to fluctuate a lot. The animatronics/costume/cg are really impressive but it never feels like an actual monkey or anything, you're just mentally patting the crew on the back for their work. It's overall pretty dumb, forgettable.
>>217220555Lmao. You better be fit as hell to say all that.
>>217220929I will wait for streaming. Still kind of interested. Any woke nonsense?
>>217220880Grupreet? What?
>>217221037Yes. I am in very good shape.
>>217221057Not unless you're extremely sensitive, there's a black guy but he's very minor and I don't think it's a spoiler to say he dies very quickly. The dad is deaf and it's slightly relevant to the plot, which is kind of novel. And calling traditional final girl stuff "girlboss" in a movie like this would be absurd.
Jenna won
>>217221198No, the black guy is the only one in the movie and he's got three minutes screentime tops. I couldn't guess what ethnicity all the other girls are but black is not it. It's set in Hawaii so they're potentially Asian/Latin/native mixes who knows. But if blacks are your issue you aren't going to have much to worry about here.
>>217220929I saw this tonight too and I had fun. It’s only 90 minutes and knows exactly what kind of movie it is. The practical effects are pretty good and the kills are enjoyable. As far as killer animal movies go, I’d say it’s one of the better ones.
>>217221239Sounds good. Blacks, doesnt matter how many, if they are in some out of place role, it is enough to make me turn it off.
>>217221330Same thing with jeets
>>217220315And she's right.>men will travel to a distant planet and hunt an invincible creature instead of going to therapy
>>217221402> A young woman is newly-released from a mental hospital, where she landed for setting her brutal boyfriend on fire. She takes a job at an all-night gas station. The isolation triggers her paranoia and hallucinations, with gory results
>>217221402Only people under 30 watched that slop and 90% of people under 30 are black. Even the predator looks like a “youth.”

I watched Blood Sucking Freaks today, never seen anything as sleazy lmao. Kind of a perfect uncanny valley between a torture film and a porno. The writing was funny, characters would be like "lets meet later" and then the next scene is them meeting later.

Them at some point I convinced my mom to adjust our account so that I could rent whatever I wanted without her and I finally saw the movie and instead of scary it was hilarious, lmao. Just finished. Been avoiding this forever, in the early 2000s I was into the extreme horror thing and everyone was talking about it but it escaped me and since I've just really never felt like watching it. Some of that stuff I love to this day, like Flower of Flesh and Blood and Murder Set Pieces, but I felt like this one was going to just be grating. It kind of is, but it was honestly better than I expected. It was also a lot less gory, kek. A full three quarters of the runtime is just the two leads fucking around, going to PA tourist traps, getting tattoos, driving around. I imagine they saw Henry Portrait of a Serial Killer and thought "what if the whole movie was the home movie those guys were watching?" I couldn't stop thinking how much Fred Vogel looks like Linkara, lol. There were little grace notes I liked like how Fred "spontaneously" pours beer on a naked girl covered in shit and then licks it off and realize he's just locked up shit too and starts gagging, lol. And shooting in what is clearly a real tattoo parlor and talking to guys who clearly are working there for real and then cut to them torturing the guys in their basement meaning they got those guys to agree to be part of the movie some point after shooting that. What kind of a tattoo parlor is half comic book shop, btw? Definitely not something I liked that much but glad I got it off my watchlist finally.
>>217224077tfw I've been putting it off as well
>>217223981Lmao true
>>217224171I was expecting the whole damn thing to be them dismembering people in the basement and was surprised so much of it wasn't

>>217224955Back to your /hr/ containment thread.
Spamming the rest of /tv/ just wasn't enough, snoodniggers now have to spam /hor/ as well?
Just finished. More a dark comedy/crime film than straight horror, but I thought it was actually funny, so that counts a good bit for me. Adult Elijah Wood is always a coin toss, he's got interesting taste and gets involved with interesting people, but the stuff he picks is just as often disappointing as it does work well. Still his involvement is more a plus than a minus. Love Stephen McHattie and Michael Smiley so I enjoyed this overall. If the humor isn't your style you'll probably find it annoying.>>217225474There probably aren't as many regular posters on /tv/ as you think, I'm guessing like 50 people.
>>217216679wall or bad makeup?
Superior Snoodlike actress
>>217224077>>217224253It's just meant to be more realistic, and that's why you get segments of them just fucking around like any antisocial would. It's just them living their lives with murder thrown in because they're psychopaths. Mordum gets all the praise and recognition, not the original. Penance doesn't really get talked about at all.If you wanted something on the extreme side of things that is possibly gross, SVD is what you want. Really depends on how you handle seeing & hearing people actually vomit though.
>>217216679christ, another buccal fat removal. Who the HELL is convincing these women that they don't look like methheads after getting that specific procedure done?!
>>217225790I HATED SVD, I gets so (literally) gay, lol. I actually thought during a lot of AU " hey this is kind of like the porn I watch" lol. I wasn't disappointed it wasn't gorier, I was just surprised that it wasn't pure gore like I expected, like American Guinea Pig was. It was actually kind of laid back, lol. I didn't dislike it,.it just wasn't my thing. I think the convenience store and hooker parts were kind of cringe, as was Fred anytime he tried to be menacing. I'll do the sequels, probably soon now that I know what to expect more. I heard people complaining about all the laughing in part 1 and that made me hesitate more than anything else, I was was expecting *pure* edge
Just finished my 3 movies and it wasn't a good selection:>No Me SigasIt's not FF, although it has a few scenes of it. I think it should have been, as it would have worked better. The last 20 minutes are the highlight when it's all revealed. Now, everything before that is all pretty bland and the drama doesn't work for me. I get it's there to set up the “is she just going crazy” angle, but that's boring and predictable. They play at too many angles and none work really. How the fuck is her friend supposed to be some beauty influencer while she looks like that? Fuck off. I'd give it a 4.5/10 just because the last 20 minutes bumps it up from a 4.>PigletYep, I was right, it's absolute shit. If you've seen the other British (why is it always them?) PD horror movies, you've seen this one, complete with ugly slags. One part was funny when a woman took a shower in her bikini. Funny because they clearly didn't pay her enough to get naked for it. Look into the writer, he does a bunch of horror movies and not a single one is >=4/10 on IMDB. Impressive levels of shitty writing.>Hallow RoadHonestly, just not for me. The mom is EXTREMELY annoying, both in dialog and her voice. The first part is literally just a PSA on what to do in case of an accident. Gets a bit preachy and tries to make some kind of moral point or some shit in the 3rd act. I don't know, fuck this movie, it was boring.
>>217225862>American Guinea PigDidn't like it because it does what other gore movies do, and that's treat people as endless blood bags. It's also about 30 minutes too long. Even the Japanese knew to keep that shit around 45 minutes in length.
