What horror movie raped you as a kid?

For me it was The Thing
>>

>raped you as a kid?
no
>>
Ernest scared stupid. I was far too young when my parents watched it with me.
>>
>>217218480
>raped
Weird choice of words but I'm just gonna assume you mean 'significantly scared' by that. The Exorcist. There were so many nights where I just couldn't sleep because of that movie.
>>
The Exorcist
The Shining
Predator
Alien
The Thing
Child's Play
Stephen King's It

Watched all these as a kid.

Halloween, saw it a few times before the age of 9. I still hate that theme music. Fucking Michael Myers is the devil man. Why didn't bullets kill him???????? Fuck Halloween.
>>

Damn fucking scary.
As a kid, the McPhearson case also scared the shit out of me.
>>
I watched The Fly when I was 8 and was scared that Brundlefly nigger was gonna crawl across the bedroom ceiling and barf acid on me a long time.
>>
American version of the ring freaked me the fuck out, the dead body of the lady in the bathroom.
I should rewatch it just to get some closure lol
>>
>>217218601
That slimy, slobbery kissing the troll was too far for me, I actually puked up my spaghetti right there in the living room seeing that shit, I never and will never watch that shit again, ruined Ernest for me.

I'm not gonna lie, if a demonically possessed girl with yellow eyes ever says "fuck me! Fuck me! Fuck me!" My response is gonna be "ok, let's do it."
I've never refused a ladies invitation, and that is my sacred policy

Tremors. Didn't want to go outside ever again after my uncle put it on for me and my cousins at a sleepover one night. Still don't.

dawn of the dead 2004 gave me my first anxiety attack
my brother took me and my infant nephews along with his bitch wife to watch it, the kids were crying the entire time, they'd been fighting, so i was already feeling awkward, and then the movie was just too grim and gruesome to even be like a fun horror movie
my nephews were horrified and the bit with the zombie baby just sent me over the edge, i had to ask my brother to leave and he got super mad and he got into another fight about it with his wife lol
i thought i was scared of zombies for years cause of it, turns out i just have general anxiety disorder, i can happily play re games and enjoy the original romero trilogy now
>>
>>217218827
you should watch it anon, it's not that bad
>>
>>217218678
I still have no idea why my Christian private grade school teacher thought it was a good idea to show us this movie this one day when we didn't have shit to do at school. I didn't find it scary but many friends from back then quiver at the mention of this movie cause of that time.

New Nightmare. First Nightmare on Elm Street I saw. All the meta stuff flew over my head, but the movie spooked me, especially this scene:

Alien
My dad let me watch it when I was like 6 or 7
I remember being afraid of going to the bathroom alone for the next week or so, cos I thought a xeno gonna dab on me from the vents
To this day I still find the xenomorph to be the scariest monster in all of cinema, but its really starting to lose its magic recently by how overplayed it got and how much slop its producing nowadays, unfortunately
>>
>>217218480
It, although it wasn't a movie and morre of a miniseries. Tim Curry was a scarry motherfucker.
>>
Child's play is like a child's worst nightmare: toys coming to life to kill you.
>>
>>217218648
Same plus Halloween, Nightmare on Elm St., Friday the 13th, Critters, Fright Night, so many others. The only ones that truly scared the shit out of me were Chucky and Krueger, something about them frightened me on a primal level although in my defense I was literally 6 y/o when I watched them. Not horror but Jacob’s Ladder also fucked me up.
>>
Accidentally saw Punpkinhead on cable at like 6 years old, fucked me up

Childs play
My younger brother had this thing and it fucked with my mind.
i was only like 7 when I watched it though.
When I was younger I remember having a nightmare about lion witch and the wardrobe. Strange I remember it so vividly as I was kind of sleep walking and could see things with my waking eyes.

Poltergeist fucked me up. Bedroom closets, under the bed, anything creaking, and TV static, pools of mud, old trees, and refrigerator raiding at night gave me terrors. Legit bad movie for a small child with an active imagination.

It's still a great movie that feels Spielberg without being Spielberg.

>>217218954
My mother forbade me to have skis because of that movie.

>the scariest monster in all of cinema
I would agree with you if they had never made another one
>>

>>217221950
Hate to say it but I think the Alien looks silly. Especially when the small one skitters across the room or when it does jazz hands in the vent. I think the Predator is way scarier. Absolutely disgusting mother fuckers those predators. The mouth moving around making that noise is so gross I hate it!
>>
>>217223160
The fact that the predator is this nasty slimey alien with a spider mouth and shit but it has kind of human intelligence behind its eyes and it's got all these high tech weapons and it might rape/torture people or eat them for fun in the most disgusting hannibal lector ways. The alien is just like a retarded monster that is going to kill you. The predator is going to do some gay ass ritual where it flays you alive and has an autistic scoring system for it like a trophy hunter.

Rapeman raped me as a kid.
>>
>>217221950
When I was a kid, I walked in when my dad was watching Alien 4 during the scene with the alien-human hybrid thing, when Ripley was with it and then it got sucked out into space, and I wasn't able to sleep for many nights. I didn't know what it was and didn't get to watch the earlier Alien movies until much later. In my mind it was just some monster baby thing that got horribly killed.

Shame the movie ended up being kinda retarded when I actually watched it, I don't hate it as much as most people do though.

two scenes in brave little toaster. one is the quicksand scene? they are all holding onto eachothers power cords, and being sucked in one by one into the quicksand, until its just the last one, the radio, narrating their own death. grim as fuck.

then later/earlier they are trying to cross a ravine or something, and they connect their power cords to eacthoer like a rope and cross it? but the vaccuum cleaner fucks up and slips and drops them, and he thinks he just fucking killed everyone accidentally. so he walks to the edge and just...jumps.

maybe i was just not supposed to get it or pay attention but those parts burned themselves into my fucking brain. now quicksand/accidental death is a tag for me on the boorus.

Alien 4. The sequence showing alien/Ripley hybrids gave me fucking nightmares.

the opening scene of Ghost Ship. I wasn’t scared so much as disturbed; I had never seen gore like that before.
>>
There was an old "Tales from the Crypt" horror anthology show called "Alfred Hitchcock Presents". One episode featured a woman desperate to escape from prison. She forms a plan with the prison mortician to escape from the prison by being buried with the next person who dies in the prison (the prison mortician would then come and dig her up). She's successful in escaping and getting buried. She then decides to look at who she's in the coffin with, it's the mortician. The final shot is a pan out from the cemetery with her screaming. This horrifies me to this day https://youtu.be/BcXIrGdu6aE?t=1281

I believe it was some Alien movie, I haven't been able to identify which one though
The facehuggers from the eggs made me scared of sitting on the toilet of fear they would attack my ass from the plumbing system

I knew if I told my parents why I didnt want to take a shit they'd never let me watch scary movies again, so I blamed it on "owls in the toilet"
