>>217237538This isn't a great barometer but I used to know one of the members of the band The Summer Set and they've only got about 296k monthly listeners on Spotify and they were able to not only live off of their royalties as their only source of income but (even though they lived in an overpriced yet relatively reasonable 1-2 bedroom apartment in Hollywood) they were still traveling internationally and always doing stupid stuff and going to VIP parties and crap like that. Joe's band has 4.4 million monthly listeners so I assume he probably gets the same or better royalties on top of his salary. I'd have to count hiw often he appears in season 1 & 2 but even though its undisclosed he probably got the minimum for a named character with speaking lines which is around $10k an episode. He got $150k an episode for Season 3 (and was in every episode so about $1.2 million), he got $1.35 million in totak for season 4 and $6 million in total for season 5 which equates to about 8.71 million. He lives in NYC and it was filmed in Georgia so thankfully he avoids California taxes and Los Angeles's millionaire tax, so realistically after tax he probably has around $3.6 million dollars minus his loving expenses over the last ten years plus the money he's made from his music and random tie in deals. Hes been in a bunch of other shows and movies though and gets a little bit of royalties from Dead by Daylight for using his likeness so I'm sure he's fine even if he's not buy an island or private jet rich. The main downside is he lives in NYC but I guess he must be having fun being a celebrity. If it were me I'd move to the middle of nowhere and buy a huge ranch and make my own fun.

>>217238980I simultaneously agree and disagree with you. On one hand yes, such a brutal event will be shocking and horrifying to most. But this is a show based on D&D. Prior to this 2nd volume coming out I'd predicted there would be some flipped or alternate version of the upside down that would be created by the kids themselves, but they would need a reason to go all in. Seeking a True Resurrection/Wish/Miracle to try to bring Will back would be such a cause. The whole meme about high level D&D goes batshit crazy and the players are OP: well we're right about there. They've also given clues that "this is the end of these characters and no one will see them again" and what not. I believe that one is going to be literally. Someway, somehow the band will seek to either go after whatever state Will is in (in the process deal with Henry/Kali/Mind Flayer etc) and most likely realize they can only do so by joining him. Several times in season 5 they've made allegories to dying together and not wanting to lose one another. I believe this will be the crux of the drama of the final act and what they've been building for. What could be more D&D than the party sailing off into the multiverse/dimension x/the afterlife together having sealed away or vanquished the great evil? I'm aware this is a lot of reaching, but it seems fitting given they blew Avengers Endgame level money on this script and theoretically want to sell more movie tickets(or concession stand vouchers or whatever they are).
