Another forgotten and underappreciated Y2KINO.
>>217222611This was recommended to me in like 2010 by a really devout practicing Christian and while I enjoyed it, I was left really confused by what her interpretation of the premise must have been.
>>217222674>https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wonderfalls>An accidental-pregnancy plotline was also planned for Jaye's sister Sharon. Having slept with her girlfriend Beth, who had just slept with her ex-husband, in the first season, Sharon would later find out that she was pregnant from him. This "miracle pregnancy" would solve one problem between Beth and her ex-husband: they could not have children.Their immaculate conception was going to be sloppy Lesbian seconds.
She looked so good in Hannibal
>>217222611my main memory of wonderfalls is the main actress making the o_O face several times per episode

Wonderfalls and Pushing Daisies. Kinögrafiés of the highest order.
>>217225143Why is Fuller so unlucky?
>>217226340he's a degenerate sodomite
she was naked in some canadian indie movie btw

so what was the talking lion?
>>217222749>webmis madonna just female iggy pop?
>>217222749>tfw you lived enough to see Madonna become some extradimensional minion from 2000AD
>>217226340He's doing high budget artsy shows that appeal to a tiny demography since you must enjoy a mix of gay and hope/sadness in Wonderfalls and Pushing Daisies and a a mix of gay with gore in Hannibal. It's hard to get this kind of material out in some outlet like HBO, but he did it on regular TV. Hannibal was on NBC iirc. Also he probably lack the right contacts since the guy from Legion (Noah Hawley?) did 4 seasons of his X-Men show and his Alien Earth has been renewed, I don't know how, since it was one of the most expensive shows ever made but it was absolute garbage.
>>217222611I fap for she
>>217228626>a tiny demography since you must enjoy a mix of gay and hope/sadness in Wonderfalls and Pushing Daisies and a a mix of gay with gore in Hannibal. Why would these appeal to just a tiny demographic though?
>>217222611yes.
>>217231473Not gay enough to the gays, too gay for the straight. Not dramatic enough in the hope/sadness, they are well written bittersweet stories with nice characters that are kinda shallow but then they show a bit of heart and see them being developed slowly into a real character. This kind of shit doesn't work on TV, people want the bitch to be a real bitch, the good guy to be really good, etc. Also Americans want explosions, screaming, betrayal, etc. tl;dr: these shows are pratically live action slice of life anime and they came out in the early 2000s. They were made to fail.
bryan fuller shows in a nutshell
>>217222611once i went out with a girl that looked like her
>>217226340Everything since Hannibal has been trash
>>217233449I don't like American Gods but people seen to enjoy it. I heard he got fucked in the later seasons tho, same for Star Trek, it seems he had a vision and the producers fucked the whole thing, but I don't know if it's true. It was pure garbage and the worst Star Trek show I've ever watched - since I skipped anything that came after. I truly hope Dust Bunny is good.
>>217225143>>217225143I forgot to press play on this for over two decades nowand lookahere>>‘Pushing Daisies’ Season 3 In The Works, Says Creator Bryan Fuller
>>217233895>While promoting his latest film, Dust Bunny, Fuller was asked about the possibility of the comedy-drama returning to TV screens, and he had good news.>“Absolutely,” Fuller told ComicBook recently about wanting to revisit Pushing Daisies. “We have a season three pitch, and the entire cast wants to come back, and we’re hoping we get to return to them. We just have to find somebody who wants to make it.”That's his whole career. Man has good stories to tell but no one want to waste money on them
>>217231759>these shows are pratically live action slice of life animeNo wonder they sucked.
>>217222611I liked it because she was tiny and hot.
