he should've said he was tall dark and mysterious and explained what "dark triad" is.

recovered from what?
The jewish manlet was coping hard and seething like a woman with "no u". Don isn't a model, his status and living were determined by his ideas and their executions.

Nice cope, Don.

You can clearly see in this scene on Don's face that it hit him hard because it is true. He has no realt character he just looks cool and is handsome. That's all.

Odd that seemingly there are those like >>217224120 (assuming not bait) that believe what the little dork believe. It's a testament to his lack of character/intelligence/talent/charisma that he both didn't understand not to just do exactly what Don said he did in the past (word for word no less), and that Don himself does indeed possess all of those things that he lacks. In-universe Don's work is highly praised, I don't recall there being any creative in the whole show either on-screen or off that is considered at his level. Even Ted Chawgggghhhh remarks to some journalist that "every time he looks in his rear view mirror he sees me". I also like his on-the-record response to the journalist: "Never heard of him".

he made the GOAT ad couple months after though
>>
>>217224120
it strikes a nerve with Don's impostor syndrome and all his insecurities but throughout the entire series he is shown to be one of, if not the best ad men

it strikes a nerve because its true. He's a tool. Him being creative and good at his job doesn't mean he has some sort of distinctive "character". It's his looks and voice.
