This is a James Bond movie, right? My bff said so.
>>
>>217230419
It is objectively better than every single James Bond movie.
>>

Even Thunderball? Damn
>>
>>217230419
Is this the movie with the dangerous green balls?
>>
>>217230419
Headcannon, yes. Mason is Bond.
>>
>>217230419
Imagine how much kino Bay would have made if he stopped doing Transformers after 2007...

Bond Thread?

Yes. Chemical weapons that are loaded into missiles

This is even dumber than the "Home Alone is a Christmas movie" meme.
Connery was James Bond from 1962 through 1971. Mason was captured in 1962 and escaped Alcatraz in 1963, then was recaptured sometime in the 70s.
And even if you somehow try to fit those timelines together, it doesn't account for all the other actors who played Bond from the 70s through the 90s, unless you somehow think only Connery was the "real" James Bond, or had his own separate timeline.

Reddit has some fantastic threads about this theory

It's Bay's take on a Bond movie, similar to how Cameron's True Lies is.

Erm.

It works as one, but it’s pure redditcore.

>Home Alone is a Christmas movie meme.

Not even comparable. That is a thematic debate, people arguing about whether a movie that does take place at Christmas and features a family reunion as it's emotional climax could be considered a Christmas movie.

What it's more comparable is the "Home Alone is a prequel to Saw" meme. Comparing one British secret agent from the 1960s to another is nowhere near as dumb as saying that a ten year old who makes booby traps in self defense is destined to become a serial killer.

I miss this Jim, without all the blue aliens.
>>
mason was SAS, bond was MI6
>>
>>217232049
Bond is a Royal Navy slag too.
>>
>>217230419
How did Bay manage to only make 1 good movie in his entire career and it was a the beginning of it?
>>
>>217230419
No. If it was James Bond it would be called James Bond, not The Rock.
Hope this helps, sweaty!
>>
>>217232095
Bad Boys 1 and 2, Transformers 2007.
>>
>>217232181
Armageddon too.
