I always thought that Captain Atom had a lot of potential.

>American soldier framed for being a Soviet spy during the Cold War.
>Volunteers for shady government experiment in exchange for a pardon for the sake of his pregnant wife.
>Gets put inside the wreckage of a spaceship and the military basically drop a nuke on it to see if the alien metal can withstand the blast.
>The metal fuses with the soldier, turning him into a living nuke with atomic powers and launching him 15 years into the future.
>The government never issue his pardon since they presumed him dead, immediately blackmails him into becoming a government-sponsored supersoldier codenamed Captain Atom.
>The general who secretly framed him out of jealousy so they’d have a test subject is now married to his wife and raising his son.
>Soldier must learn how to control his powers, reconnect with his family and escape from under the government’s control.

Plus he's got a cool design.

No comic book should EVER get a show or kino again. They've done near fatal damage already.

Firestorm could make for a fun buddy adventure film: A chad and a nerd get fused into one body who can transmute things as long they know the chemical components, with one controlling the body and the other becoming a disembodied voice giving advice.

In the comics, the two most popular configurations are chad student Ronnie Raymond and his nerd professor Martin Stein, or Ronnie and nerd student Jason Rusch, with the twist that Ronnie and Jason don’t control who’s going to become the body and who’s gonna be the guiding voice and they alternate every time they merge.

Doesn't his daughter fall for his best friend who knew her since she was a child? And that best friend is like a 50 something black guy? Boy i'd love to see the reaction to that one

This would make a cool Smallville type series.

He's literally never going to get better writing than this episode where his highly justified confidence makes him wrongly think he can take on Superman.

I have to respect AI peddlers for their commitment to their fake casting picks. I lost count of how many Dracuka fake trailers I've seen, always with Keanu Reeves and Jenna Ortega.

the question is literally me and he needs his own show, but i doubt modern writers would do him justice.

that sounds silly in a based way but they can’t show the us government in such a negative light
it would be interesting to have a superhero whose body is infused with some sort of alien self-repairing metal
