How do you feel about Season 8 of The X-Files?
>>217251393I always skip season 8 and 9 on rewatches. They just don't have any charm to them. Its nice that they reigned back into a more serious and more horror territory tone after season 7 but I just don't care about Doggett
>>217251572I like doggett and I do like they go for a less jokey feel like the other seasons but it's definitely not the same. It feels weird. Even skully is hardly around as much in the 8th season. It kind of becomes a different show.

I liked Dogget, and the new arc with Mulder could be interesting, but I didn't think I could sit through two more seasons of increasingly stale and repetitive MOTWs. They were really starting to get old by S7.
