I tried, but it just isn't very entertaining. The pilot is promising, but once you get to the second episode it slows down significantly and becomes exactly what most people have complained about just screaming lesbian woman with the twist that her emotions affect the entire population of the planet aside from about 5 people

I went into it with few expectations, knowing little except that it was "sci-fi", but came out of it pleasantly surprised with stuff to think about. Not exactly deep philosophical issues, but it's entertaining all around and well put together.

I dropped Pluribus after the episode where 5 episodes in or something Carol finally gets a whiteboard, writes down a bunch of questions to finally narrow down the hivemind, and drags in a hivemind guy to make it answer questions.
Then instead of actually asking the questions, she asks one about whether her dead grandma GF was patronizing her or not, gets upset, and ends the scene without any new information despite 'getting new information' being the entire setup. Similarly, I loathed the scene where, when Carol tried calling the Paraguayan guy, they replay that ENTIRE scene from his perspective in its entirety, despite that not giving us anything new or interesting. (Showing his life in the storage facility is good, but the latter 2/3rds of that opening were not)
Maybe it gets better near the end of the season but I just could not take how little was really going on

After watching Pluribus, I decided to watch BCS, just finishing season 1, and this show has even less going on than Pluribus. I still love it though. I think Vince is way more about aesthetics than plot.

It's filled with woke nonsense and msot of the characters are profoundly retarded, but it is enjoyable and technically well made. Despite everything I enjoyed it. The spic man is based and saves the entire season from being a void of nothing happening. Vince is an excellent director but his pacing is fucking slow.

she still doesnt even understand that the individual she made her slave isnt actually an individual and is the same being as all the others
she continually abuses the hivemind but then gets omega upset when they start having a seisure even though she knows that will happen

even if she has grown past any of these flaws (and more) since episode 5/6, it doesnt matter because no one is watching anymore. i actually feel bad for the actress because clearly no one told her she is playing a dishonest retard and she delivers lines earnestly and truly believes shes some sort of main character heroine sole survivor type
