>>217256239My problems with Fire & Ash>Quaritch's arc feels disjointedHe crushes his skull too early in his arc, denies his relation to miles when he's captured, say's he's "not that man" - Yet harbors grudge with Jake, NeytiriI think when he was with Jake and his kids running from the Ash people through the swamp, and Jake talks about how deep the planet goes then when the Omaticaya reinforcements arrive and quaritch flees, it would have been interesting for him to fly to where his human body was and then crush the skull, THEN go to the ash people and work with them.>Spider's arc feels rushed, undeserved, and problematic to the narrativeI'm fine with the breathing, as that is enough of a reason for humanity to threaten full conquest of pandora, but the head tail is a bridge too far for me. The actor is not good enough to pull off the dramatic moments, which make them fall flat, and apart from jake's family, we haven't seen him interact with "the people" (navi)>Movie is mostly rehash of TWoWWhy do we need more scenes of the whales debating, Lo'Ak getting mad at Tonowari and Jake for not standing up for Payakan, etc. We did this last film. >Jake goes to get Toruk but quickly loses him and deflates any meaningWe needed way more conflict within Quaritch this film, more Ash tribe exposition and connection to the overall plot, more answers, less questions, and it just felt like a re-hash of the first two films for no reason.
