I don't really like seeing so many innocent women get killed by a knife wielding guy as a plot device. just gets repetitive after a while because it's the same basic beat over and over.

Saw Clown in a Cornfield because of boredom and because it was on amazon prime. I didn't care about the Young Adult elements and its really slow until the halfway point, but it does get better and I thought the lead actress was a qt. I'm still surprised that this was based off of a book that came out in 2020, I could've sworn that this was made to capitalize off the Terrifier films. I definitely think that this was shot way better though and it helped that it wasn't two hours long.Only thing that really soured the movie for me were the messages at in the third act they were way too heavy handed for what was a horror film with comedy elements.

been a while since I watched the original, but the ending was memorable enough I don't need a refresher. putting on Sleepaway Camp II now.

>pissman is watching a gay horror film by a gay writer/director while spamming about how unattractive jennifer connelly is
>>217258225I'd rather have kids with a Jewish woman because that means they'd automatically be Jews and therefore in the top 1% most powerful people.
>>217264824Marrycel cope. I swear as more mid men have kids with wives that dont only view them as providers, aka second choice after she hits the wall, there are many “muh kids” posters on 4chan. Nothing wrong with having kids but I guess when most people, 95%, dont have respectable jobs or income, “wife and kids” is all there there is.
>>217264851He fits right in here
Really don't know what movie to watch
>>217260455I watched One Missed Call after watching Audition, Dead or Alive, and Ichi the Killer; and it was horrendous compared to those flicks. Doesn't even feel like the same director.
>>217264899Spanish horror or giallos. Or try your luck with random horror on Tubi.
>>217264899Whatcha in the mood for
>>217264824>>217264884The post wasn’t directed at you but its what I noticed specifically on 4chan. Like majority of people and their familes are not worth mentioning. Its like “wow, youre out of shape and never attractive? Nice. Oh and you matched with someone uglier and poorer than you?” Congrats??
>>217261172The thing with horror movies is that audiences are forgiving with production values and picture/sound quality more than any other genre. You can make something for peanuts like Blair Witch Project or Paranormal Activity and can go gangbusters at the box-office, doesn't work for any other genre like horror.
>>217264908I've seen a ton of giallos. Don't know any Spanish horror. I'm open to something on tubi>>217264937My only criteria is that it has to probably be a good movie. Preferably something more serious than hokey
>>217264748Yeah he unironically does
>>217262944It is surprisingly well made for an ultra-gory horror flick, shot on 16mm film too. They certainly don't make 'em like that anymore.

>>217264900Miike is an EXTREMELY prolific and varied director, he tries out every genre has directed comedies and children's films. He's probably directed more gangster movies than any other genre. Dude has 125 directing credits and is mostly doing live action anime adaptations now. His movies also vary wildly in quality, he's made masterpieces and garbage. Dig deep into his filmography, the guy's fascinating.

Baking new fred
>>217265097You'd have to qualify what is sexy to you before anyone can answer that. There's a lot of horror films that have sexy stuff in them but not stuff I would call "sexy horror". The problem with horror is that genres that elicit positive emotions detract from the horror, which is about eliciting negative emotions, so I don't find many sexy horrors or comedy horrors to be all that horror at all.In a broad sense I guess you could list a lot of the older vampire films, which tend to be erotic horror, as 'sexy horror' films. I don't think anyone would disagree but most people would probably want something different to meet their definition of sexy.
