The singular master of psycodrama horror.

Just your everyday average pedo.
what if psychic kids and a pack of rape dogs
Is the original TV The Stand any good? I tried watching that new one with Eric Northman and it was god awful
>>217262385I have suspected for some time that Stephen King is not a well man.
I noticed there's a trend for "magic retard" characters in his stories. Whether it's the magic retard in The Stand or the magic retard in The Green Mile, Stephen King will try to pull your heart strings with his tardsploitation.
>>217262385Post the kiddie gangbang scene in It.
>>217262416It's okay if you remember it's a made for TV miniseries from the 90s
>>217262516Ok this is kino

>>217262516How is her as Flagg? She looks like a decent Nadine
>>217262549All those drugs must have done a lot of damage to the part of the brain he uses to think and feel. The man talks like a high-functioning psychopath.
>>217262385I've never read a book of his but wow this writing is fucking trash! Legit writes like a woman. Now I see why he has so many books. He got carried hard with all the movies adaptations.
>>217262598A lot of people complained about his Flagg, but I thought he was okay.
>>217262672What a fag.
>>217262672>>217262705>Ripley stripping down - UGH, so sexist>A child letting her 6 friends run a train on her - so empowering
>>217262650He has a decent imagination and writes in a straightforward, active and accessible manner. I both like and dislike his work because of his meandering style. When it works, it works (It, The Stand, 11/22/63, Revival to some extent). When it doesn’t it feels like he needs an editor with actual balls. But it’s sort of fun to follow the story as he writes because at a certain point he’s feeling his way through the story and I can enjoy that. It doesn’t work for people who insist on plot-driven books limited to parsimonious text that exists only to drive the plot along. He also clearly loves writing and I respect that. The number of classic movies adopted from his books and novellas show that he has great ideas but his execution can be sometimes improved through streamlining. His short stories are very entertaining and I always look forward to rereading them or finding out there is a new collection out. I guess as much as I like his meandering style when you distill his stories down and limit the word counts their probability of success goes up considerably. His new books involving the detective, black teen and autistic woman are complete shit.He is also very, very popular and successful so you’re going to always get haters.
>>217262416The intro showing all the dead scientists in the lab while Don't Fear the Reaper plays on the jukebox is kino.Random vidya fact; some of the ambient guitar tracks were also used in the old Fallout games. I think it was the same composer.
>>217262810he has had ghostwriters
>>217260959Reminder it's okay if you put a pillow on a boomer's face as they sleep.
>>217262385Reminder that he denied the existence of the Epstein client list
>>217262650YEP. He has "great" prompts, but the actual writing is honey to NPC.
>>217262385Calling an incest victim's processing of the sex as "mental ecstasy" more than fear, disgust, disassociation, powerlessness -- King is pro-pedo/abuser.
>>217260959And middle school orgies.
>>217260959His only good story was Cujo and his only good movie was Christine.
>>217262516The closest we ever got to seeing them actually out in the open
>>217263415So close and yet so far... Goddamn they are nice, though.
>>217260959Just watch 11.22.63 and what a piece of shit that was. >write a time travel story about preventing the JFK assassination>don't do any sort of interesting speculation on what happened, it's just Oswald>a bunch of gay relationship drama in betweenChrist, should have known it was going to be garbage
