I have been watching behind the scenes of movies I loved and I just came to the realisation that acting really is extremely cringe and gay. They portray badass characters but their little gay precious retards acting tough just the moment camera rolls, with their little props, and then discussing how the scen could be more "real" and tough but they're discussing it lol and when the camera rolls and they turn back to this fake badass or fake crying over a fake dead body it's sooooo cringe I don't know how the whole room isn't laughing no instead they applaud after the cut and tell them how great they were snapping back to their actual real gay character. Ew.

They are creating images which should convey emotion to viewers. Of course they need to discuss it. I can make a disgusted face at my wife and it could mean i have to take a shit, or she let ate the last french fry or im mad she wont let me fuck her friend in the ass again but without narrative and literal cinematic framing it wouldnt be obvious.

Ok no I am not debating the technique they're obviously good at it and. I am just saying, seeing them "act" outside of the movie made feel so much cringe, when everyone is silent and admiring their acting while they act, it's like theater, it's such an odd feeling it makes me almost mad it is so ridiculous, like big children taking themselves seriously and patting each others back when done. I can't watch a movie anymore without seeing how fake and gay it all is

But thats what we're doing now if you...really THINK about it.

sports are more cringe than acting. oh wow you throw a ball good job literally means nothing kek.

No because we're discussing something real that we want to say. I guess if they wrote what they acted it would make it way less cringe to me.

In 1942 the US government recruited dozens of Hollywood actors to form the wartime intelligence organization that would eventually become the CIA. In 2004, Trey Parker and Matt Stone made Team America, a film laughing at this concept.

We're not discussing something real. We are presenting platitudes in between goon sessions or scrolling our steam library. Words like violence break the silence come crashing in into my little world.

No. But that tells a lot about you. Please try to be more sincere and honest in your day to day life. Maybe start going to church, find Jesus. You can't live like this brother, love you.

Your wife let you fuck her friend up the ass? Bit of a humblebrag, but still, fuckin nice man.

You don't have to be like this. You are allowed to drop the mask. You don't have to let irony poison your life.
