Been watching Air Disasters on the Smithsonian Channel. Are passengers on aircraft safer now or are the risks just different?

>>217263494They are, in the US at least. The passenger plane crash that happened in DC about a year ago when a female helicopter pilot flew into a airliner was the first fatal commercial airline crash in over a decade in the US
