Many characters start getting sidelined even by then and start undergoing "we need something for them to do" syndrome.Their arcs, reversed, or they straight up become criminals out of nowhere after living a completely lawful faithful life. It's good for Deadwood refugees especially.

Are there really places in America where a non-cowboy can wear cowboy boots and a hat while not being thought of as eccentric or a larper? I'm in Ireland and I'd love to wear my cowboy boots more (very sturdy footwear) but I know I look ridiculous when I do. Also the god damn noise they make with each step isn't exactly subtle.

>>217265089In Texas no one will bat an eye at you wearing cowboy boots. I have 2 pair, a work pair and a nice pair. A cowboy hat can be a little bit harder to pull off, but it is still very doable. The only places you might get looked at strangly is in some of the more uppity areas like some of the suburbs of Houston or Austin.

the main bad guy in season 5 or 6 did one of the worst accents ive ever heard. he's some east coast boomer jewish guy pretending to be a kentucky redneck and it's awful. show is otherwise fantastic from season 2 onwards. season 1 is more of a typical bad guy of the week serial, bit of a drag on a rewatch for me.
