That's because tech has largely been stagnant since the late 00s, in regards to how it affects our lives. Smartphones and social media were the last big paradigm shift and that was almost 20 years ago.
VR/AR flopped, and now we've got AI slop as the defining tech of the decade.

I refuse to watch anything this guy is in. He is every black theater kid stereotype cranked to 11. I can't fathom how Atlanta got as much praise as it did. He's incapable of coming across as anything other than a sheltered NYU grad and here he is trying to pass himself off as some struggling dude on the streets. It's such an embarrassing, vain show.

My mom has a friend whose son was a valedictorian in highschool. Im an old fag in his early 30s but he was even older than I was though, I think he graduated in 2011 or something. He was getting crazy offers from schools around the country and the world because he went to a hyper competitive public school in Texas where the top 1% students usually went Ivy League. He was super popular there too and played on a sports team, so he was never given shit for being smart or nerdy. If the stories were to be believed, he was not only getting offers from places like Columbia University (with scholarships) but some universities in Singapore were offering him full rides with free housing and extra perks. West Point and the Air Force academy wanted his ass too. Like they had military dudes practically begging him to join their schools and the Air Force guys even were like “bro you could be a pilot if you want with your background, think about it”. You know what that fag does? He said “fuck that” to everything that was offered to him and became a stand up comedian. I’m not joking. Everyone (including myself) was seriously confused. I found out later that in 11th grade he got obsessed with the show Community (which Don Glover was in) and had a secret desire to become a comedian like glover was. He literally idolized that guy, and I don’t think glover ever responded back to his emails. He saw glover once in person when he was in Texas, but glover literally brushed him off (he told me). Regardless; he never told anyone about these plans because I think he realized how risky (and ridiculous) the aspiration was. He got disowned by his parents (they’re brown) and he went to NYC and did his thing. He never got big (obviously). He wasn’t small either to be fair, at his peak he netted like 300k views on some videos of his standup, but he is way past his peak now. Idk what he is doing these days. He completely wasted his potential and professional life over this shit
>>
I feel bad for Glover. He was so embarrassed to be his authentic self (a likable dork) that he had to rap and race-bait in an attempt to be a Real Black Man. A sick culture.

VR leaves and then comes back on the scene like every 10-20 years but nobody notices. It's the same repetitive cycle of hype and quiet periods. It's always the same shit and never anything groundbreaking but newer generations eat it up like it's the next internet.

Yes. And you can blame people like Musk and Thiel and all the other Silicon Valley tech bros who started creating monopolies to extract rent globally from everyone. Mono0polies stagnate everything.

I keep thinking about how much Zuckerberg has spent on metaverse. 77 billion is about 2x GDP of Paraguay that has been spent on a retarded vanity project. And because facebook is a monopoly the market is powerless to stop this enormous misallocation of capital.

Tech bros are one of the biggest factors holding humanity back and stagnating everything.

I don't see AI shit changing anyone's life
But I can see a different way of transport changing your way of life, yeah

that doesn't change anything lmao. I could go out right now and replace my diesel with a Nissan leaf, wow, big fucking deal it makes less noise and accelerates quickly.

If electric cars and AI is all we have to look forward to just shoot me in the head

That's not the friend's life
That's every single valedictorian's life
They take school as a microcosms and work their asses off to be valedictorian, skipping parties to study more and skipping girls to study more and be the peak
Then you are the peak of the microcosms, and all your work made you to that peak. The highest. Nobody can be bigger than you, you are the giant and the alpha, and you won the microcosm with your sacrifices
And then it's one day after school ends, and you are back to 0 in anything you choose to do.
All veledictorians think "if I'm going to start as 0 again may as well do something I like this time fuck it" and do crochet, or aim to become olympic cloth folder or salsa instructor or whatever loony shit

You are still locked down because you are driving the car
It's not a goalpost move, I unironically didn't mention "self driving electric cars" because I thought it was a given
self driving electric cars is the paradigm shift, not just electric cars (we had those for a while now)
>>
>>217265635
Power is ultimately about the machine crushing the individual, not just race. (See Tuskegee experiment, AIDS, then the use of increasing "vaccination" on all.) Though race is one of the weapons to divide/conquer.

Media literacy actually would have more ppl see it's all assigned theatrical roles. Eg Trump/Rubio are 2 servants of Israel playing The Heel + his whipping boy.
>>
>>217270184
>massification of electric cars
Never going to happen, I don't think we're going progress far past this current state of electric just coexisting with ICE. Auto makers don't want to make them, consumers are resistant to the idea with signs pointing to them just becoming more resistant, the electrical grid in third world countries like the US can't handle it, battery tech is still garbage for continuous and/or long distance operation. Electric only makes sense for city cucks and short distance trucking.

>consumers are resistant to the idea
That's a brainrot not a consumer standpoint, every poll has shown that if you try an electric car you'll have high chances to actually like it, you just have piles of years of "i dunno" stamped on your brain
The electric grid can absolutely handle it, the main reason to not do more, is because you can't store it, that's the main problem
Battery=shit point taken and the only frontier we need to solve, but that's also "the electric grid problem" You can't make 10 extra nuclear plants to pump electricity when it's not needed if you are already at the grid cap, so any fluctiations on the grid is annoying
But there's not an electric energy shortage, it's just hard to do more and not use it
>>
>>217270462
aside from coming out almost a decade after Kendrick got popular, sure
>>
>>217267865
Unfortunately he listened to the feminized society telling him to “just bee himself :)” and he didn’t have any strong, rational masculine guidance to make him take a step back and think about the reality of the situation. No doubt the father couldn’t do anything about it because he would be labeled as “abusive”. Oh well. At least that’s one less brown in the US military

>>
>>217270523
>That's a brainrot not a consumer standpoint, every poll has shown that if you try an electric car you'll have high chances to actually like it
Until more and more people try and realize there is no infrastructure built for it.
>>
>>217270651
That's cool but not an actual problem
Trains didn't had tracks and cars didn't had roads and "no infraestructure!" wasn't a problem
We just made the infraestructure
One way to do it for example is force all gas stations to also supply/sell electricity for cars and make room for 1 say, government supplied "pump"
>>
>>217270748
it still takes considerably longer to charge an electric car than a normal one
even if you replace all current gas pumps and cars with electric ones, I doubt things would go smoothly
>Trains didn't had tracks and cars didn't had roads
both were usually build on top of older roads/paths
>We just made the infraestructure
sure eventually but it will be very costly and take a very long time
>>
>>217270748
>trains didnt had
>cars didnt had
Of course you’re esl that’s why you’re so confident in your stupidity
>>
>>217270621
Only pure aryans should endanger their lives for israeli military industrial complex.
>>
>>217270924
>both were usually build on top of older roads/paths
My example with the gas pump is literally building over existing infraestructure as well, and I'm a random retard on 4chan, I'm sure some brainiac can manage to think of something better
But even then and even if it's slow and has like only 4 plugs per pump, if you know for sure you have an electric pump in every gas station that alone makes it 100x better for electric cars usage right now, you can actually take long trips with it, you can tour a new city while you wait for your car to be recharged
And this is just my random retard idea
Other commodities like that piling up and you have a full experience
>>
Now he's dying of ultra cancer. This is America
>>
>>217270364
>Never going to happen
in the west*
thanks to suicidal energy policies in the last few years
also deindustrialization which doomed the power grids to rot
>>
>>217271254
>if you know for sure you have an electric pump in every gas station that alone makes it 100x better for electric cars usage right now, you can actually take long trips with it, you can tour a new city while you wait for your car to be recharged
again this would only work now because of the scarity, if more people start using them pumps will not have enough space to accommodate everybody
>>
>>217271371
if more people start using the pumps... isn't that like... a demand for more pumps...?
>>
>>217271418
yeah but it takes much longer to charge an electric car than a normal one and gas stations have have limited space, so what do you think happens during rush hour?
>>
>>217268613
When judged financially, tech is more successful than it’s ever been.
No1 with power is judging any other way.
>>
>>217265635
American society went fucking insane in this timeframe and it cumulated in the 2020 Summer of Love riots. Inflammatory videos and the rhetoric that followed directly caused the death of dozens of people.
Luckily with Trump being reelected, Affirmative Action being revoked and the dismantling of DEI, things are returning to a more peaceful normal. These ICE protestors need to stand down or they will get hurt.
