Bret Easton Ellis is right it's not a good movie. Everyone knows exactly the reasons why it won: politics, despite what the gaslighting shills will claim. I can't think of a single movie released within the last two decades that deserves a 95 on Metacritic based on the quality of the actual work itself but it's certainly not OBAA. What a joke.

The movie is fun and thats all, the politics is like fanfics it was made by edgelords back in the 2000s, it doesn't ruin the movie, making the politics more real it would ruin the movie by making it hard to understand and follow.
