Actors for which you hold a powerful hatred for no discernible reason.

All valid reasons.

When I was younger I held a deep and inexplicable aversion to Brandan Fraser. I think I just didn't like the movies he starred in. Once I learned about all the shit he's been through and saw some of his better performances I came around.

Seriously? I liked him just for Mummy, Bedazzled and George of the Jungle. He did do a lot of shit but he was always likeable imo, even in slop.

His dad’s security company got the contract for the WTC complex like a year before 9/11. They were also involved with the legal cleanup of the FTX scandal.

His show Big Mouth has a weird nod to 9/11 conspiracy where the genie character asked why so many Jews missed work that day.
>>
>>217292998
Kroll can actually create characters and perform while Rogan is just a fat dude-weed jewboy who plays himself in everything.

Kroll is one of the main pulls Netflix got from the burning husk of Comedy Central. That he basically got to choose between being a showrunner on FX or being a showrunner for Netflix is a sign of the end times of the last paradigm of comedy. We are about to disembark fully from the Rogansphere and enter the Cum Town renaissance of comedy so expect to see the boys getting the deals soon.
>>
I know why though. He stole Joanna from me.
>>

>Cum Town renaissance of comedy so expect to see the boys getting the deals soon.
It will just be stav and he'll just be doing cleaned-up 2000s comedy throwbacks for millenials. Pass.

For me it’s Spencer Tracy. There’s nothing about him that I can put my finger on exactly but I still hate him. I hate his face, I hate his voice, I hate the way he walks, etc… From a purely analytical standpoint, I also find it mind boggling that he was an A-list leading man in golden age Hollywood and got to fuck Katherine Hepburn for decades with that face and body. Don’t get me wrong though, he was a talented and skilled actor and I still respect him
>>
>JGL
No rational reason whatsoever, I just hate his face and I avoided films with him. Fortunately for me, he isn't around much.

>Christian Slater
Same as the above, hit face and demeanor just irritate me, but for some reason, it's just his older self (especially in Mr. Robot). He's ok in True Romance and Heathers.

I remember years and years ago there was this show called The Life & Times Of Tim on HBO, and Nick Kroll was a cast member on it. The show was decent, nothing special. They used a generic 00’s southpark ripoff art style to showcase some decent improv comedy. One thing I remember though that I found odd was that the advertising for the show would make a big deal out of the fact that “Nick Kroll” was on the show. He wasn’t very good on the show and this was a long ass time ago before he was known for being in anything else. I remember going to his IMDB page because of this and seeing that it had practically no other acting credits on it besides this one show. I found it odd the way they were seemingly using the show to promote him, not the other way around.

Then decades later I was watching Kurt Metzger getting interviewed on some podcast and he said Nick Kroll’s dad was rich and powerful and that Nick Kroll grew up safe and secure in the fact that he “always knew he was going to be on TV one day no matter what” and it made more sense.
>>
>>217293797
Lionel Barrymore carries in that.
>>
he was completely insufferable on reno 911 and his sketch show sucked but i didn't mind his character on the league, mostly because he was the friend all the others constantly picked on and humiliated. plus his wife was hot.

That's actually how it works for every show and actor, they repeat people's names and show their faces to make you think, "oh, that's a celebrity."

All celebrities are famous for being "that famous person."
>>

t. Nick Kroll

Bro I remember Nick kroll from comedy Central on Reno 911 as a kid
>>
Fuck this smug looking fuck, he looks like he thinks he's hot shit because he hopped on gear and got face surgery
>>
>>217294829
And? I didn’t say he had absolutely zero acting credits at the time. I said they hyped him up like they had some big fucking star on their show when all he had ever done was a handful of guest spots and writing gigs on crappy cable television shows and one big role on the failed “Caveman” sitcom based on the Geico commercials.
>>
>>217294929
I like him in Silicon Valley but that's because his character is a complete and utter scumbag that the show consistently shits on for being such an awful human being. He doesn't even deny it either. The character's moment of truth is when he admits he's a truly terrible person and lists off all the horrible things he's done.

What We Do In The Shadows ended on such a dull note.
I really liked it up until the final season.
