Finished it. It's a too deep 4 u movie.The whole thing is about the girls trauma. She's adopted and her parents were abusive and she keeps being abandoned or whatever. Basically she wishes for a monster like Mads, who is told to be a monster (also lol an angel wow symbolism), but gets the Dust Bunny that kills everyone but her and it symbolizes her rage and trauma blah blah blah. He adopts her and they leave together, his PTSD not totally fixed but pushed back, her trauma the same. The end.It's shit. It unironically would have been better as a generic action movie with an old man and a little girl.

If anyone's curious about the making of it; originally it was an episode of the Amazing Stories reboot before Fuller left the show. Script got notes and approvals from Spielberg before getting adjusted to be movie length. Fuller also had to call in a bunch of favors and help on the CG himself because they were working on such a shoestring budget. So if it feels a bit off, it being a padded out TV episode with minimal funds is probably a good chunk of why.
