I binged the whole season and thought it was solid. Sure, it has its moments of dumb plotting, but it's a fun watch overall. Definitely binge-worthy. You guys are way too hard on it.
Didn't finish it but the aliens didn't seem threatening enough.
Only watched it for Kirsh, Wendyfu and the eye thing.

Either the writing was bad, the direction was bad, the plot was bad or there was just some vague collection of things that just made me cock my head to one side in confusion. Every scene. It's one of those shows that I found myself pausing constantly to rant about as if the show runners were there in the room with me eager to get my feedback.It's a real shame too because there are interesting ideas in it, and the production value is high, but my fuck does it not stick any landing at all.

He's a glorified accountant. he starts investigating supplies going missing and missing workers.David of course tries to frustrate this, and thinks he is fooling the much simpler robot. But after Lobot witnesses "Walter" lying, which he was not supposed to be able to do, he works out very quickly what is going on

Major studio using a script for something completely unrelated and then buying the rights to a major franchise to make "fit into it" for free advertising. They keep doing this tiresome shit!
