Did she deserve it?
>>217318809Absolutely not. This was still my favourite short from BOBS but fuck me, would it have killed them to give us a happy ending?
The old gay man killed his younger partners new beau to keep him to himself right.
No. the guy was a scumbag
>>217318809>>217318846i dont know what show this is, but what she deserves is my D
President Pierce did it
>>217318846your happy ending is when the jew self insert power fantasy gun man who murders goyim in cold blood goes to heaven after falling for his own trick.the point of the movie is that jews werent part of the golden era of the west, and were excluded from representation from boomer cowboy movies, so now the jews are going to make the west ugly, and disgusting, and slander every stupid goy that enjoyed that period of history. it was dark, and evil, and savage, but only because white people are retarded and frail so now you're all going to be replaced by counting chickens and other scams.
I might be remembering wrong but wasn't there just one or two injuns left at the end? Might as well try to kill them insted of blowing your head off
>>217318978it's was literally just one which got the old guy with a sneak attack. the girl thought the old dude was dead but he was playing possum to kill the indian fella
>>217318915I can't tell if this shit posting is done for laughs or if you queers are really this paranoid.

>>217318809No, she ought not to have did it. Poor girl
>>217319380>amerigoys use to be a great people but they replaced themselves by letting us in lol lmao
>>217318915You think the wild west was an age of noble chivalry and selfless daring?
It’s always fun seeing BOBS on /tv/ because you get people who insist they know Americana but cringe when the story ends poorly. Do you know what “riding off into the sunset” is meant to represent? The cowboy fading away. His work is done, he can die. Cowboy stories are sad stories, I remember watching old movies with my grandparents and half the movies end with the cowboy riding away while a kid or woman begs for them to come back.If you watch BOBS and don’t get it you unironically need to expand your understanding of America more. The movie is a love-letter to the foundation of American spirit.
>>217318846>He got the gold>He only took what he earned and what he needed and left everything as pristine as he found it>The measly skunk diedPretty happy ending if you ask me. I honestly kinda sorta teared up at the terrified relief of his screaming "He didn't hit nothing important" to himself
>>217320621JUST GUTS!
>>217318809I like sexy horse faces.
Ladies, if you have a girlfriend and she has like a sweatshirt that says namaste on it, she's a cunt. Like, how do you not see that?
>>217320060No but the recent revisionism that it was a savage place of mass murder and rape is retarded. It was unlimited freedom, someone comes to town you don't like? Tell them to leave. They don't listen? FORCE them out or put them in the ground with zero consequences. Jews and zesty bucks can't stomach the thought of white people having that much power, because they know exactly where they'd be in such a place. So they have to attempt to rewrite history with countless movies and TV shows and books and comics and games
>>217321158Can you name some movies that do Cowboy stories “right?” What part of Ballad feels “kike” to you?The “goofy little Jew” at the start of the movie isn’t mockery, it’s an homage to the singing cowboys of olden fiction, he gets gunned down by a darker, more serious rendition of Cowboy lore but there’s still respect to it.
>>217318846>would it have killed them to give us a happy ending? These are the Coens.
>>217318915can't understand why every jew on the planet hasn't been ground into fertiliser by now. should have happened thousands of years ago but with every passing year, it not happening makes less sense.
>>217321256I haven't watched that movie, I generally avoid kike media that tries to rewrite history.
>>217318846At least the old man got his gold

>>217321347Ballad of Buster Scruggs is the most sincere and faithful anthology of Western stories in decades, I’d recommend it.
>>217322030Nah it’s subversive kiked garbage. You can kick me, kike me, sue me, jew me, but you’re not gonna make me watch kike media.
tim blake nelson's a great singer
>>217322030I still don't understand the ending one.
>>217323102They're dead. All of them. They're all dead and going to judgement. It's probably the more straightforward of the stories.
>>217318846This. Great short, tragic end. She was a good woman.
>>217318846>>217323697As much as it pains me to be this blunt, but the frustration over her senseless death is "the point." It's not "the girl who got surprised," she got rattled. The prairie is horrible and will claim its due.>>217322789>BOBS is subversive kike garbage>When everyone is white, even the crowds>Every "character focus" story except for one is a white man, and the one about a woman is her stepping out of her brother's shadow and finding love on the prairieC'mon, man.
>>217321256>Can you name some movies that do Cowboy stories “right?”The Wild BunchI don't malign >>217318915's theory or even think it's farfetched in general but I don't believe it's a conscious thing on the part of the Coen brothers, A Serious Man makes it seemingly pretty clear in what esteem they hold their own people (Jews). If anything Buster Scruggs' portrayal of the west that he describes, whatever accuracy he might have, might just be something they can't help as part of their innate Jewey neuroses (also lambasted in A Serious Man).
>>217323896>whatever accuracy he might haveHe doesn't have any accuracy, as we've seen in this thread he hasn't even watched Buster Scruggs. There's nothing subversive in the movie and it's in fact very faithful to the "spirit" of the West. I grew up on Bonanza. On Rawhide. They were always on at my grandparent's house up in Wisconsin. Good dairy land, up there. Between that and visiting them in Ajo every summer, I grew well-acquainted with the sort of world that Westerns often explored. The stark and at times "senseless" violence of Westerns is core to what I'd describe as the very essence of American storytelling, which is "American Realism." To make it short, American Realism was a 19th century movement that depicts contemporary people going about their lives, without romanticism or embellishment. While many of these stories can be fantastical, as some lives are, more of them were rough and desperate people trying to make do with what life offered them.Where am I going with this? I don't know anymore, anon - I think I'm just reminiscing on the days I'd sit on a hill overlooking the tall grass and cornfields, listening to little else but the wind going through the stalks. Life can be terrible, but life is also beautiful. It's about appreciating both of those things that make it worth living. It's why "Panshot" is probably my favorite story in Buster Scruggs, because it's about this poor dumb kid that gets pulled around by the whims of fate, often to absurd ends, before finally making peace with being a "doomed" man and standing at the gallows, calm and comfortable. He looks at a beautiful woman in the crowd, smiles, and then the bag is put over his head for execution. That to me is a quintessential Western story.I hope you have a lovely night.
It doesn't matter if she deserved it. what matters is that it happened. and that's the real lesson

So this was a straightforward story about fairness right? The robber mirrored the earlier situation with the owl, the prospector could have taken every egg if he wanted, he had all the power, but he didn't need them all, so he left one. The robber had him dead to rights, he could have just held him at gunpoint and taken the gold, hell there was so much he could have even left him some, but instead he was cruel and greedy and got killed for it.
