>I just want to make some money for muh family>woltah you are crazy, you are unhinged, you are trouble I cannot work with you>I want to murder the entire fucking cartel I don't care about anything else they killed my bf so I'm gonna slaughter them all I don't even give a fuck about what happens to any of you>gus you are a great employer here's to another stable ten years togetherwhy was he like this?
>>217333276Mike is a bad character. There, I fucking said it. I know reddit would have a heartattack reading that. It's like the writers so desparately wanted to have a "cold, stoic, emotionless and ruthless enforcer" type character that is a badass, but because they're pussies they didn't want to commit to him being an unlikeable psycho asshole so they kept trying to give him the moral high-ground even when it felt very unnatural and unrealistic. Especially bad in late series Breaking Bad and all of Better Call Saul.Walt was 100% justified in killing Gus and taking over, and he was right that Mike getting caught was his own fuck-up. Mike's "rant" that people love to quote is just him being angry that he backed the wrong horse and got outsmarted by Walt. Gus was a much worse person than Walt, morally speaking, and yet Mike conveniently ignores all of that for a reason NEVER explained.
>>217333276I liked him in Better Call Saul. But it makes him even worse in Breaking Bad.
>>217333638BCS was a buddy cop series
>>217333780No it wasn't, but it would have been so much fucking better if it wasIf the show focused on Saul and his shady and funny lawyer shenanigans with whacky and fun characters in a more episodic format it would have been a 10/10 series, like I thought it would be in season 1But instead making it "Breaking Bad lite" was so fucking lame and boring
