I liked it.

what if they reveal this show is actually canon to the book and original 1990 miniseries in seasons 2 and 3? Basically different incarnations of IT.

It kept my interest which is more than I can say for most shows.

Won't really matter. It's all just nonsense fan fiction made up half a century later. So them suddenly calling it "canon" to some decades old work is nonsensical. You can believe whatever you want in your head though if it comforts you.

Ngl I was pretty shocked when they burnt down that entire tavern and killed that kid just to save her dad, not a fair trade

Well, Stephen King is still alive and kicking. ABC wouldn't mind talking with Warner Bros I'm sure.

Terribly stupid show. Felt like a retarded fanfiction filled with MUH RACISM shit, like usual.

>what if, like, the military tried to use _____ as a super weapon
>wouldn't that be crazy dude

Hollywood, please retire this premise for good, we are absolutely sick of it by now

As poorly handled as the racism plot was, the military plot was a million times worse. General retards plan made no sense, and his motivations were some schizophrenic dr strangelove shit.

>I must release this cosmic child killing monster to stop the feminists and negros.

What the fuck?

Yeah it was pretty goofy ngl. It would have been somewhat explainable if pennywise made him think that way, but nope. At best it was a butterfly reaction from pennywise going back into the past, but it was still stupid.

The racism in the show makes a lot more sense when you realize that section of the book was originally set in 1962 as opposed to the lazy 80s port they used for the new movies, most of the adult characters in Derry grew up in the literal 1920s and 30s

Um actually there were some groids out on the ice, but surely they were just good boys forced into violence by their evil white officers who most likely buckbroke them
