Tech companies and Disney would just lobby to stop it. I feel like at the least ai generators should be legally required to have obvious watermarks in the videos. I like ai for the dumb memes it creates, but none of these faggot media companies should be allowed to profit off of it
>>
>>217341715
Everything would be rebalanced if everytine you ran an algorithm you had to pay a nickel royalty to the artist/likeness of every picture/video you trained it on.

Want tonrun it for free? Go out and buy the rights of every image in your training library. This is basically a plagerism machine.

Lol which is why they are raising the prices of components to outrageous prices so you won't be able to. Dumbass, you will not be able to do shit in the future. They won't let you. Only corporations and government
>>

It's not real-time. We're a way out yet. There's a reason why these clips are so short and they do so little.

>Lol which is why they are raising the prices of components to outrageous prices so you won't be able to.
Dumbass economic and historical illiterate.
Consumer pc parts have been declining significantly for 60 years with small upticks in prices that drop off a year or two later even lower.
There's always going to be a market for consumer pcs. If one company won't provide it, another one will. There's already competition from China.
Also the main producers are investing in new factories anyway.
None of this is new or unprecedented.
>ITS DIFFERENT THIS TIME BECAUSE UHHHHH I WATCHED A CLICKBAIT VIDEO ON YOUTUBE ABOUT IT

>Intellectual property is a fairy tale. Grow up.

A failure to respect IP is why Edgar Allen Poe died impovershed.

He was writing during a time where printing presses didnt recognize British Literature. Why pay a new artist royalties when you can print off 1000 copies of Charles Dickens at cost?

Hundreds of American authors were financially crippled as a result. And the industry only recovered after the US acknowledged the IP of foreign authors.

i didnt realize we sign our posts on this sub

i do know that though. another thing that happens as a result of that is all the assets inflating, which are primarily owned by the boomers and gen x, so those people have all the money and piss it away on onlyfans models and so on.

The money doesn't appear out of thin air.
It's printed by the government/central bank.
Without them we would have deflation in asset prices

yeah, its not live and its also cherry picked, they are all using Kling AI Motion Control which is a Cloud service with ton of censorship, they don't show how many credits they wasted creating those videos and how many times their requests got rejected

>thinking it's the end of the world.
the world will never end, but things like this will make it significantly shittier for no good reason.

just rolling over and doing nothing in the face of watershed technology is comically retarded, even if you have a favourable opinion of this. new technology requires wise use, and letting this go around without any kinds of safeguards or legislation is a bad idea, because it will even ruin the usefulness of this tech in the long run.
>>
>>217341664
Why is it always scenes that are a few seconds long? Why cant they make a something movie length?

I can throw a football as far as a NFL quaterback, that doesnt mean I could actually play in the NFL.

AI has a lot to prove beyond these parlor tricks which is all we have seen from it for the past 5 years.

Can't stop the bum rush. I've grown up with ~30 years of rapid technological growth. Everything gets cheaper. There are bottlenecks, then breakthroughs, and prices drop. Such is the nature of tech.

We are pretty close to The Futureā„¢. There are some AIs that can render live and adaptive on the fly 3D visual environs that generate in real-time. There's a crazy change coming in the next 5 years. I'm focusing on Representational Engineering on Edge devices, essentially building a local "memory" that interacts with AI (either local or API) but has its own continually generating vector files for memory on your ssd. This may be A practical start for localized, personalized AGI. And I'm just a guy with a consumer laptop, some knowledge, and some ideas. I see a hockey stick advancement just around the corner. It's more figuring out how to utilize AI in practical, profitable manner than anything. It's 1992 and you're a software developer right now. Get in and start working! You may be the next big thing.

It's noticeable now, but only barely. In less than 5 years, there's a good risk you might actually be gooning to rotoscoped pajeets pretending to be women.

A terrifying thought. I'd rather have Skynet over this.
