Strange seeing this thread – I just finished watching Police Story five minutes ago. I enjoyed the action scenes, but it left me thinking, "Wouldn't this and Drunken Master both be better without the purely comedic scenes?" I was annoyed by the slapstick bit in the telephone room, and by similar bits.
