A period piece dealing with topics that haven't been done to fucking death with characters that felt like they weren't created by committee. They're all so memorable and layered. Delaney genuinely comes across as strange and unhinged in a way that doesn't feel weird for the sake of weird. He isn't an edgelord (okay sometimes he kind of is) he's just convincingly portraying an insane person.I've accepted season 2 is never happening. The worst thing I can be is pleasantly surprised.
