I have alco genes and the first time alcohol hit my brain in a real way it was like a wave of positive emotion that i'd never experienced before. I was like "what the fuck, I actually want to talk to people right now" "what the fuck I feel completely enthusiastic about life". I seriously think I have had some kind of low level depression my entire life since I was conscious and it was the first time I was not impaired by it.
