According to Mike from Red Letter Media ny trek has views in the tens of thousands.
These cost millions to produce, and often go over budget.
Yet, they keep giving Kurtzman more opportunities. He has a thousand times more resources and creative control than Rick Berman had back in the day.
He is clearly trying to bankrupt CBS, and CBS keeps renewing his contract.
The only logical explanation is Kurtzman has blackmail on the CBS execs.
