>Perhaps he's wondering why you would shoot a man before throwing him out of an airplane>They expect one of us in the wreckage, brotherSomething I never understood about this masterfully written scene from TDKR that I would venture to call a plot hole - why did Bane have enough sense to realize that CIA wasn't actually killing anyone (thus implying they were all on the flight plan) but go through with leaving one of his men on the plane? He already knew they weren't actually tossing people off, so why the sacrifice?
>>217349944This video explains everything. There was only the appearance of a plane, the real battle was waged on a spiritual level.https://streamable.com/e9fjkz
He knew up until the point where CIA said "You're a big guy", then he had to make an emergency change of plan. You see, CIA, being the cunning fox that he is, phoned in the total weight of all passengers on the plane. Now the issue is that Bane, being the big guy, weighed twice an average male. Thus they have to make sure that there is a random corpse there to account for the weight discrepancy. This is actually a very subtle dialogue highlighting the IQs between the two nemesis. CIA is the L of the conversation, Bane is Kira. CIA's only mistake was praising Bane's stature, thus revealing the agency's protocol.

do you feel in charge?
>>217350413
>>217349944Because CIA wasn't lying about the flight plan listing only one of them, that doesn't mean murder was involved, he just didn't expect that many hooded men on board.
>>217350102Hollywood could never.

>>217350614he's a sharp guy
>>217349944huh, you're right>Bane knows CIA is lying about extrajudicial murdering one of his men>knows CIA is actually an upstanding guy>which means he (CIA) would have filed a proper flight plan>which means Bane would have planned for leaving behind 4 bodies instead of 5It is an actual plot hole, well done.
>>217349944It's not about the "flight plan" bluff it's about investigators asking why the plane crashed, if there's an extra dead guy then it was a one man hijack, case closed
>>217350722There was no room on that plane for CIA to call Ittin without being overheard. It's unlikely he would've used an app in 2012. Conclusion: the flight plan was either filed before Bane entered the plane, or it really did only list one.
>>217350102okay thanks
>>217350722>4 bodies instead of 54 instead of 1*
>>217350763Disregarding the fact CIA could've just walked off anywhere to make the call about the flightplan, including to the cockpit,>the flight plan was either filed before Bane entered the planeExcept Smee, Maimen, and Dr. Paa'Veel were the only ones he was expecting, his friends were unexpected so for any of them to get on he would've filed the flight plan after they arrive>or it really did only list one.In that case, why the theatrics of pretending to throw someone out of the plane? What was the next step of his master plan?Idk bro might be a plothole
>>217350963maybe when he said "only one of you" he was also talking to the doc
>>217350519what do you mean? button lee and juan oevyu were on the flight plan
>>217350762But there wasn't an extra dead guy, Banes sacrifice accounted for his replacement to be assumed to be Dr Paa'Veel Hyere. But Bane KNEW he was lying about the flight plan, meaning there's now 3 people missing from the flights wreckage
>>217350993Dr. Pavel was the only one they actually expected.
>>217349944so that's why they shot it in imax
