You ever been to goyland?
>>217350485This is what 40-year-old white millennial single woman heaven looks like
I go all the time
>>217350485I went to the one in Paris with my aunt when I was 8, I liked it but she didn't let me go on the fastest one.
I like amusement parks but I don't care about disney products
>>217350485only once to the one in Paris
>>217350613You can go to Energylandia, it's in Poland so it's cheaper while having shorter queues and more (and faster) rollercoasters.
>>217350485>>217350516We should move all of them here. It's WIP but there's plenty of empty land in every direction!
>>217350601I went to Disneyland during the absolute best time to go. October 2001. The lineup of Indiana Jones, which was the newest hot ride of the time, was 10 minutes.
>>217350601>>217350601>>217350485I wish to christ I wasn't a broke fuck and had a annual pass at 2011 at the latest. The park is/was genuinley magnificent along with the effort and soul the imagineers put into it. Sadly the route is going now is whatever is big IP is happening they'll replace a ride. The best parts about Disneyland aren't even Disney. That and the skyrocketing price of as ticket is just not worth going anymore to see the cool shit. It was my museum kinda.
>>217350485No, just Legoland.
I liked getting drunk at Epcot.
>>217350516it's mostly people with their kids
>>217350769I think anaheim disneyland will remain as close to Walt Disney's original vision as possible. Orlando magic kingdom is going off the deep end with these IPs. Its already a huge regret what theyve done to splash mountain, but theyve double down with removing tom sawyer island
Who was in the wrong here?https://youtu.be/GWKWSjG5aQs?t=51
>>217350516aren't there a bunch of swingers that hang out around disneyland?
>>217350827selling alcohol at disneyworld was the first thing they did to make Walt spin in his grave
I hate crowds. no ride is worth waiting two hours in line.
i used to go to the one in Anaheim in the 90s as a kid. its all been downhill since then
>>217350846>Orlando magic kingdom is going off the deep end with these IPs. Its already a huge regret what theyve done to splash mountain, but theyve double down with removing tom sawyer islandYea I heard about this, the knife twist is that they apparently have a fuck ton of land to work on but just refuse. Terrible shame.
>>217350846Animal kingdom is very egregious with this, the lead designer for the park stated that Zootopia wouldn't make sense for the park since it has nothing to do with animal conservation but then Disney decided to add an attraction for it anyway
>>217350850fucking fag Gaston, guy being an indignant twitter cunt and embarrassing the lady filming a character in a public space. His saying that "weird" shit over and over is a dead giveaway.
>>217350601this
>>217350850working in disneyland as a popular entertainment attraction means being able to handle the crowd and odd prick who wants to cause a problem. They used to hire quick witted actors who would embarrass you if you caused a problem
>>217350712kek it's incredible how true this is.
>>217350485I've been there many times. What do you want to know?
>>217350529lol I watch him regularly. Go to Disney World and/or Universal at least once a year. Never been to Disneyland and probably never will. Tokyo one maybe when gay AI glasses work really well
>>217350485I went to Disneyworld once in 1997 as a 10 year old with my family and it was legit kino. You couldn’t beat that 90’s aesthetic where everything was analog, communal and mostly middle/upper class white families. Now’s it’s just one gigantic nigger filled shit show with Soi faggots, weirdos and NPC families. You couldn’t pay me enough to go now.
>>217351158>Tokyo one maybe when gay AI glasses work really wellWhy, so you can record the little Asian women with them?
>>217350900Walt was a keen eyed, wonderfully artistic and visionary man. He was also a stooge for the NWO agenda. EPCOT was originally supposed to be the prototype for these so called "15 minute communities". None of this is hidden or even hard to find. Walt is one record talking about this shit lol.
>>217350895Yeah trannies go there to hang themselves in the Mickey Mouse Motel
>>217351212Walter Knott was a better Walt. True fucking American>makes so much money he decides to build a brick for brick replica of independence hall so Americans in the west can visit>still free to this day
>>217351251I'm genuinely surprised Cedar Fair and now Six Flags kept Independence Hall. No one else is ever there when I go see it from time to time.
>>217350485I love about 25 minutes from in in Anaheim. Only 1/3 of the people there on any given day are parents with young children. Everyone else is some 30-40 year old millennial "Disney adult" trying to escape the trauma of being raped in the ass by their uncle.
>>217350485Unfortunately, Goyland is unaffordable now. Not only is it priced ridiculously high, but in order to actually enjoy the park, you need to pay extra to get faster access through the lines. Once you factor in food and hotel stay if you're visiting from out of town, it becomes unfeasible. The only people who are going to these parks are people who are either locals, people who have tremendous amounts of expendable income, or really dumb Disney diehards who have no problem going into extreme debt just to live out their pathetic fantasies.
>>217350712This but for Remy's and Cosmic Rewind. Those lines were pure pain in December.
I work at land, when i tell you the level of insane incompetence across the board that is behind the scenes is unimaginable
How easy is it to go on tinder and fuck cast members or hotel guests from your resort? Asking for a friend.
>>217350485yes in hong kong. FILLED WITH ASIAN BABES. recommend for that.rides were eh, get fast passes first if you want that shit. also the disney stuff there is only the "new" things, dont expect to see your childhood.
>>217350485my parents flew us around the world to go to Disneyland in the early 90's it was pretty much the coolest thing ever and one of my most treasured childhood memories. I went again somewhat recently as an adult and while i wanted to enjoy it, the sight of disgusting niggers and beaners everywhere really took the shine off things.
>>217350712Here's a secret for you retards, get there early. Set your alarm for 6am, get to the parks at 7 so you're there right at the rope drop (which, by the way sometimes happens 15-20 minutes earlier than the posted time). You'll have shorter lines than the lightning lane later in the day, and it will cost less. I went to Disney World over the summer with my family. My wife and two of my three kids complained about having to get up early, but we consistently saw every major attraction by noon, leaving the later two thirds of the day to just lounge around and slow play all the stuff no one cares about. Still, all their complaints mean nothing, because the second we get home my wife's already asking when the next time we're going is.
>>217351162you just did the meme
>>217350928Amusement parks can only get so big. There's a weird paradoxical tipping point where if people think they can't see everything in one reasonable session the fear of missing out leads to them avoiding the park completely. Like they get so much anxiety they don't want to go, even if they express it as something different like "the lines are too long" or "there's too much walking."
>>217350945There is a giant Pandora section
>>217351208Also translation
>>217351640Avatar does in fact have themes in regards to conservation and man's relationship with nature which was the original concept behind the park
>>217351578>get there earlyGood luck doing this with a gf/wife who takes forever to get up and get ready.
>>217351657Yeah but in the end all the parks are about plugging their IPs no matter what anyone says. The dinosaur stuff at Animal Kingdom was old in a not good nostalgic way. Never really felt like that fit in either
I went to Disneyland with my sister and wealthy grandmother in the mid-90s when I was 10.It was incredible, but you couldn't pay me to go again now - every single thing that I liked has since been removed or ruined. Also - I'm no longer a small child.I was dragged to Disneyland Paris in my teens and it just made me really sad.
>>217350671>Subdivisions that made you yell "KINO"
>>217351595Everything was shit when I was 12
>>217350485Yeah, the real one.
>>217351452Tell us about something bad from 6 months ago so they won't know it's you
>>217351595>memes didn’t exist until the last 15 yrs or so>mid 90’s>no high speed internet to speak of>no one thought of anything different as if it were a joke>life was literally lived that wayYou weren’t there and have zero frame of reference. Remember, you have to be 18 to post here, jungle nigger.
>>217351748>>217350671Unless you get one of the outside houses with a view living in these must feel like as in some luxurious commieblock.
>>217351705>Disneyland Paris in my teens and it just made me really sad.really? I heard Paris's strength was that it was the most beautiful of the parks, the French style and such
>>217351919Some of the design is really nice - the steampunk look of Space Mountain and things like that - but the environment in general is less managed. For example, there were piles of dead leaves everywhere, while in LA there are hardly any real trees in the park because everything is so autistically controlled. But really the reason I felt sad was just that I wasn't a kid any more.
>>217351919The irony is the Paris park has best Disneyland/magic kingdom park now, only downside is everything is in French
>>217350485yeah when i was like 12 and my family went to europe i went to it with them, it was okas an adult i'd only go if my (non existent) wife or kids wanted to go though i don't really understand people who go to it or on disney cruises once a month
>>217350485>i-is that people having FUN?!?!?!?>that must be a jewish conspiracy, there would be no fun in my thousand year Reich if only people didn't resist German landgrabs!!!!!!!
>>217351595>the memeLife sucked ass so fucking hard in comparison to today.
>>217352240Nothing screams fun like 60 minute waits for rides, 10 dollar bottles of water and baking in the California/Florida heat
>>217352158I've heard that about Tokyo.
People go to amusement parks because they yearn for walkable cities.
>>217352158>>217352320run down I heard was>Paris: Most beautiful>Tokyo: Most Impressive (most mechanically advanced rides I guess? Their Beauty and the Beast dark ride is supposedly insanely well made)>Original Disneyland: Most charming
Went to Tokyo and Sea with my girlfriend when we lived in Japan a few years ago. It was pretty good, only had to wait 5 minutes for food and they had a system where you could get tined tickets for the semi-popular rides. At USJ we waited an hour and a half for a slice of pizza.
>>217350485Why would anyone go to Disneyland when Parc Asterix is a thing?Imagine if you will, Asterix, the most kino of all Western cartoons and comics, but in an established theme park with Rollercosters named bad arse things like Zeus and Oziris!Kids go free atthe moment and there is a shuttlebus too and from Charles DeGaul Airport that only costs 11 Euros. So you could fly in in the morning, go to the park for the day then fly out the same evening so you wouldn't have to spend any time in France other than at the theme park.
>>217350901So, this guy: >>217351613
Been to world and land unfortunately. At Disneyworld we video'd the fattest people we could find me and my dad kek.
>>217351124When did it turn shit?
For me, it's Tayto Park
>>217350485Once when I was a kid. They were trying to lie about my sister's age to get her in free. They didn't tell me though. I just saw staff questioning my aunt and her struggling and throwing out ages I knew weren't right so I stepped and dry snitched thinking I was helping. If they let me in on the plan I would've just kept my mouth shut
>>217350485Twice to Disneyland Paris.First time for Halloween 2004. I got to experience the original Jules Verne-inspired Space Mountain and Phantom Manor at dusk, it was awesome.Second time in 2008, it was still great thanks to the Aerosmith rock'n'roller coaster and the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.>>217352551Too bad nowadays it's full of niggers and muslimes, because it used to be a really great theme park.I'm kinda mad that there is no theme park dedicated to Tintin done with care like the Parc Astérix and not a joke like the Parc Spirou, because there's so much potential with the albums, like Big Thunder Mesa-like roller coasters, a Space-mountaine-like coaster and a haunted house inspired by the Inca and Moon duology, etc.
>>217350485been to goyLAND in Paris back in 2007 and goyWORLD back in 2003it was fucking great and magical and I cannot even imagine how those parks must look now in the (((current year)))
>>217350850>Taxi Driver, but in Disneylandlol, can't wait for Gaston's mohawk.
>>217353783Its because nobody really likes Tintin. Its too pofaced and takes itself way to seriously for a cartoon, its like the Belgian equivalent of Rupert the Bear in that respect. It took Steven Spielberg and one of the best scriptwriters in the world at the time to get something decent out of Tintin, but Asterix's source material is so good it has well loved and successful tv series and films coming out of its arse. Thats why people love Asterix but think Tintin is ok at best. Loving something means people will go to a theme park based on it, but something like Tintin, which is not on that level could only hope for a licenced ride at a more popular theme park. There could be a chance of seeing Tintin at the new UK Universal Studios park they are making, but he is probably way down the list after even Dennis the Menace and Judge Dredd.
>>217350485Too early for this shit, but I love it, and fucking hate it more than anything too.
>>217350837Yeah, I don't really care if someone wants to go alone or with others as an adult. It's just a family park. But Disney adults are fucking terrible all around. >been to Disney like 7 fucking times
>>217352551I don't care about Asterix but I want to go to that French park with the different historical sections and plays. Forget the name. Hope it's not too niggered by the time I'm able to go.
If only Nomadlad could see the current state of Disney, he'd shit his fucking pants
>goes to Disneyland every single day of the week
>>217350485Yeah, like 4 or 5 timesI bring girls there
