You can go to Energylandia, it's in Poland so it's cheaper while having shorter queues and more (and faster) rollercoasters.

I went to Disneyland during the absolute best time to go. October 2001. The lineup of Indiana Jones, which was the newest hot ride of the time, was 10 minutes.

I wish to christ I wasn't a broke fuck and had a annual pass at 2011 at the latest. The park is/was genuinley magnificent along with the effort and soul the imagineers put into it. Sadly the route is going now is whatever is big IP is happening they'll replace a ride. The best parts about Disneyland aren't even Disney. That and the skyrocketing price of as ticket is just not worth going anymore to see the cool shit. It was my museum kinda.

I think anaheim disneyland will remain as close to Walt Disney's original vision as possible. Orlando magic kingdom is going off the deep end with these IPs. Its already a huge regret what theyve done to splash mountain, but theyve double down with removing tom sawyer island

Yea I heard about this, the knife twist is that they apparently have a fuck ton of land to work on but just refuse. Terrible shame.
>>
>>217350846
Animal kingdom is very egregious with this, the lead designer for the park stated that Zootopia wouldn't make sense for the park since it has nothing to do with animal conservation but then Disney decided to add an attraction for it anyway
>>

I went to Disneyworld once in 1997 as a 10 year old with my family and it was legit kino. You couldn’t beat that 90’s aesthetic where everything was analog, communal and mostly middle/upper class white families. Now’s it’s just one gigantic nigger filled shit show with Soi faggots, weirdos and NPC families. You couldn’t pay me enough to go now.

Walt was a keen eyed, wonderfully artistic and visionary man. He was also a stooge for the NWO agenda. EPCOT was originally supposed to be the prototype for these so called "15 minute communities". None of this is hidden or even hard to find. Walt is one record talking about this shit lol.

I'm genuinely surprised Cedar Fair and now Six Flags kept Independence Hall. No one else is ever there when I go see it from time to time.
>>

I love about 25 minutes from in in Anaheim. Only 1/3 of the people there on any given day are parents with young children. Everyone else is some 30-40 year old millennial "Disney adult" trying to escape the trauma of being raped in the ass by their uncle.
>>
>>217350485
Unfortunately, Goyland is unaffordable now. Not only is it priced ridiculously high, but in order to actually enjoy the park, you need to pay extra to get faster access through the lines. Once you factor in food and hotel stay if you're visiting from out of town, it becomes unfeasible. The only people who are going to these parks are people who are either locals, people who have tremendous amounts of expendable income, or really dumb Disney diehards who have no problem going into extreme debt just to live out their pathetic fantasies.
>>
>>217350712
This but for Remy's and Cosmic Rewind. Those lines were pure pain in December.

yes in hong kong. FILLED WITH ASIAN BABES. recommend for that.

rides were eh, get fast passes first if you want that shit. also the disney stuff there is only the "new" things, dont expect to see your childhood.
>>
>>217350485
my parents flew us around the world to go to Disneyland in the early 90's it was pretty much the coolest thing ever and one of my most treasured childhood memories. I went again somewhat recently as an adult and while i wanted to enjoy it, the sight of disgusting niggers and beaners everywhere really took the shine off things.
>>
>>217350712
Here's a secret for you retards, get there early. Set your alarm for 6am, get to the parks at 7 so you're there right at the rope drop (which, by the way sometimes happens 15-20 minutes earlier than the posted time). You'll have shorter lines than the lightning lane later in the day, and it will cost less. I went to Disney World over the summer with my family. My wife and two of my three kids complained about having to get up early, but we consistently saw every major attraction by noon, leaving the later two thirds of the day to just lounge around and slow play all the stuff no one cares about. Still, all their complaints mean nothing, because the second we get home my wife's already asking when the next time we're going is.

Amusement parks can only get so big. There's a weird paradoxical tipping point where if people think they can't see everything in one reasonable session the fear of missing out leads to them avoiding the park completely. Like they get so much anxiety they don't want to go, even if they express it as something different like "the lines are too long" or "there's too much walking."

Avatar does in fact have themes in regards to conservation and man's relationship with nature which was the original concept behind the park
>>
>>217351578
>get there early
Good luck doing this with a gf/wife who takes forever to get up and get ready.
>>
>>217351657
Yeah but in the end all the parks are about plugging their IPs no matter what anyone says. The dinosaur stuff at Animal Kingdom was old in a not good nostalgic way. Never really felt like that fit in either
>>
I went to Disneyland with my sister and wealthy grandmother in the mid-90s when I was 10.

It was incredible, but you couldn't pay me to go again now - every single thing that I liked has since been removed or ruined.
Also - I'm no longer a small child.

I was dragged to Disneyland Paris in my teens and it just made me really sad.

>Disneyland Paris in my teens and it just made me really sad.
really? I heard Paris's strength was that it was the most beautiful of the parks, the French style and such
>>
>>217351919
Some of the design is really nice - the steampunk look of Space Mountain and things like that - but the environment in general is less managed. For example, there were piles of dead leaves everywhere, while in LA there are hardly any real trees in the park because everything is so autistically controlled.

But really the reason I felt sad was just that I wasn't a kid any more.
>>
>>217351919
The irony is the Paris park has best Disneyland/magic kingdom park now, only downside is everything is in French

Went to Tokyo and Sea with my girlfriend when we lived in Japan a few years ago. It was pretty good, only had to wait 5 minutes for food and they had a system where you could get tined tickets for the semi-popular rides.
At USJ we waited an hour and a half for a slice of pizza.

Why would anyone go to Disneyland when Parc Asterix is a thing?

Imagine if you will, Asterix, the most kino of all Western cartoons and comics, but in an established theme park with Rollercosters named bad arse things like Zeus and Oziris!

Kids go free atthe moment and there is a shuttlebus too and from Charles DeGaul Airport that only costs 11 Euros. So you could fly in in the morning, go to the park for the day then fly out the same evening so you wouldn't have to spend any time in France other than at the theme park.

Once when I was a kid. They were trying to lie about my sister's age to get her in free. They didn't tell me though. I just saw staff questioning my aunt and her struggling and throwing out ages I knew weren't right so I stepped and dry snitched thinking I was helping. If they let me in on the plan I would've just kept my mouth shut

Twice to Disneyland Paris.
First time for Halloween 2004. I got to experience the original Jules Verne-inspired Space Mountain and Phantom Manor at dusk, it was awesome.
Second time in 2008, it was still great thanks to the Aerosmith rock'n'roller coaster and the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.
>>217352551
Too bad nowadays it's full of niggers and muslimes, because it used to be a really great theme park.
I'm kinda mad that there is no theme park dedicated to Tintin done with care like the Parc Astérix and not a joke like the Parc Spirou, because there's so much potential with the albums, like Big Thunder Mesa-like roller coasters, a Space-mountaine-like coaster and a haunted house inspired by the Inca and Moon duology, etc.
>>
>>217350485
been to goyLAND in Paris back in 2007 and goyWORLD back in 2003

it was fucking great and magical and I cannot even imagine how those parks must look now in the (((current year)))
>>
>>217350850
>Taxi Driver, but in Disneyland
lol, can't wait for Gaston's mohawk.
>>
>>217353783
Its because nobody really likes Tintin. Its too pofaced and takes itself way to seriously for a cartoon, its like the Belgian equivalent of Rupert the Bear in that respect. It took Steven Spielberg and one of the best scriptwriters in the world at the time to get something decent out of Tintin, but Asterix's source material is so good it has well loved and successful tv series and films coming out of its arse. Thats why people love Asterix but think Tintin is ok at best.

Loving something means people will go to a theme park based on it, but something like Tintin, which is not on that level could only hope for a licenced ride at a more popular theme park. There could be a chance of seeing Tintin at the new UK Universal Studios park they are making, but he is probably way down the list after even Dennis the Menace and Judge Dredd.
>>
>>217350485
Too early for this shit, but I love it, and fucking hate it more than anything too.
>>
>>217350837
