Why tf can’t I enjoy K dramas anymore? There was a time I’d binge watch and feel something.Every new season every hyped show I drop it halfway. I try. I really do.I’ll like bits of it a scene a character a moment. But staying? Sitting through 12 to 16 episodes? We watched Omniscient Reader: The Prophecy tonight and I thought it was pretty fun.IRL RPG seems to be a popular storyline in South Korea at the moment. A webtoon I looked at the other day had the same elements and then there's also Solo Levelling. Makes me wish there were some decent RPG's on the horizon.

I think I was expecting something like a My Mister type of serious drama series, but got an overacted silly/ridiculous type of KDrama. Not that it was bad, I guess? But the praise had me expecting one thing and I got the other. I was trying to hang on for a few episodes through all their stupid arguments and over the top behavior but I just couldn't take it by (episode 3 or 4 I think) when they created this big ordeal out of nothing about the guy leaving without her and then she was wailing on the docks as his boat left and he ends up jumping ship was acting like a spastic himself.....and then it transitions into "serious moment about their life and love and raising a child." Idk maybe I should try again, I really like IU, but the show just felt a bit too silly and erratic.
