They've been pretty good about trying to keep all the lore that they were writing in the back end there. (Even if it seems likely to have some adjustments)

Someone in the production team has clearly played or is familiar with the first two games. The designs of many of the weapons and devices like the water chip or the Displacer Glove are nearly exact duplications. And showing Golden Globes Studios was a shock and I'm not all that concerned about its placement in Vegas.The frustration lies with the writing staff because they aren't on that level. This is the only episode that didn't feel like a slog because for once it wasn't filled with complete idiots. It's comparatively poorer which leads to a disconnect in the portrayal of familiar characters in this stretch of the story. These last few episodes could make or break the show.
